But on my first playthrough I got stuck on level 2 where I couldn't progress (kept getting frozen a centimeter from the glowy thing), because I didn't bother to read the how-to-play first... woops. The art style is nice, but the character was a little hard to spot at first. The ambience and music is really good, feels so cold and unwelcoming when it's winter, and so nice and cozy when it's summer. Well done!"},{"author_name":"YinYin","author_uid":"64352","time":"Dec 16, 2015 @ 11:02am","epoch":1450263420,"text":"Top notch mood\/ambience. The controls were quite unintuitive and it would've been great if they were introduced as you need them instead of crammed into a menu."},{"author_name":"RikuKat","author_uid":"64552","time":"Dec 16, 2015 @ 7:23pm","epoch":1450293480,"text":"You're totally right, YinYin! The first three levels were actually designed to introduce the controls, but I ran out of time and only could throw in that instruction sheet!"},{"author_name":"PrismaSlice","author_uid":"63743","time":"Dec 17, 2015 @ 3:43am","epoch":1450323480,"text":"Great job guys! The mechanics of the game were also quite creative, it was a refreshing take on the platformer genre. However, it was let down a bit by the controls which seemed a bit inconsistent and sticky. I would really like to see this with more development time, cleaner controls and more levels."},{"author_name":"NirabazGAMES","author_uid":"65891","time":"Dec 25, 2015 @ 2:29am","epoch":1451010240,"text":"nice game and good graphic! well done :)"}],"images":["ld34\/64552-7e5697f842f904e98b76db8bc16bc25b.jpg","ld34\/64552-542a9b1de8420bed14fdc37ca2626792.jpg","ld34\/64552-71038715724a76b46742b52f74f13cee.jpg","ld34\/64552-c2fca4fdf9ca3b720218fd9a8a5493b4.jpg"],"links":[{"url":"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/open?id=0B-grty9-ccnGSVVYblJEWXlqSzg","text":"Windows"},{"url":"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/open?id=0B-grty9-ccnGN0pVaF9EdkdpWTg","text":"Source"}],"metadata":{"g_key":"5743","g_author":"64552","g_event":"LD34","g_eventkey":"31","g_subevent":"JAM","g_urlkey":"5729","g_title":"Dryad","g_status":"UCHK1","g_place":"99999","g_commentcount":"9","g_site2_node_id":"0","g_hide":"N","g_has_icon":"Y","g_rqueue":"0","g_random":"0"},"nds":[],"node":null,"orig_images":["http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/511439\/64552-shot0-1450148001.jpg-eq-900-500.jpg","http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/511439\/64552-shot1-1450148001.jpg-eq-900-500.jpg","http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/511439\/64552-shot2-1450148001.jpg-eq-900-500.jpg","http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/511439\/64552-shot3-1450148001.jpg-eq-900-500.jpg"],"text":"Dryad is a puzzle platformer where you play as a dryad, a tree nymph, trying to return life to the frigid lands.
