Zombie Defence by WilloXs
This game is dedicated to the features thet were left behind in it's production.
In this poorly balanced card-based tower-defence game you defend the Ancient Tree home of all wildlife and soul of the forest against hordes of undead enemies. I'm honestly quite pleased with the pathfinding implemented (though it took the whole weekend).
We were also inspired by the theme "tower-offense" which sadly didn't make it into the final round.

Have fun playing our buggy mess - listen to Urjarm's beautyful music on repeat.

Really nice jamming!
Incidentally, we also made a game about defending a tree for this jam
I didn't find it difficult to stay alive, but I couldn't figure out a way to actually win. Even after saving up 40 mana to send a full wave of bears and elephants, they still all died before getting to the enemy base. Maybe I'm missing something.
I'm impressed by the amount of cards you were able to put in, and I agree that the pathfinding, if built from the ground up, is impressive for a weekend!
Also, it's funny that we both decided to go with cards as the way to interact with our game.
Thanks!
We knew from the start that it was poorly balanced but were to exhausted to change it. I really think the general game idea has some potential and think i will rework it in a game engine with another setting/theme.
