Please Save My Short Necked Friends!

You play as an alpaca charged with protecting his flock. Unfortunately, there are a lot of hungry foxes around! Survive the waves on each level until you reach the end.

I massively ran out of time on this one. I had it planned so there would be feeding and taking care of the animals as well as fighting, and a boss fight against the farmer at the end, but hey, I was just over ambitious and too rusty from jamming.

Controls: WASD: Movement Left Click: Spit Right Click: Headbutt

Update: Fixed bug that would occasionally make the Alpaca an astronaut by launching the poor thing into the stratosphere.

I liked the graphics, and I thought the game was fun to play... Would have liked to see what you would have made if you hade more time! found a bug where the foxes dont eat the flock sometimes even if they are standing next to the sheep.

It's a shame you run out of time, this game feels like it could be so much more fun than it already is. The graphics are a cute style and I would have liked to have played through the whole thing. Maybe we can still get that? xD

I NEED alpaca sounds!!!!! Seriously though, a wee bit 'o sound would have made your implementation so much more awesome. That said, I enjoyed the unique game concept as well as the game play. I thought it was cool to have both a spitting option and a ramming option. The other thing that it was missing was a "launch my alpaca into the stratosphere" option. I would have loved to see that (especially with crazy alpaca sound effect)... but, I suppose I found your game too late and this 'bug' was already removed ;)

Very fun little game. A spit sound would have been the cherry on top, but this is a solid entry.

fun concept, gets more challenging every level, very nice!
a fox counter/indicator would be a nice feature, cause you dont see the full map and I sometimes had to search for foxes

Just barely but VICTORY! I thought it was a hoot, I liked it a lot. Some sound would help a lot, but I absolutely understand - compo is REALLY HARD.

I won! I like that the alpaca is using its spit for a projectile, and that the sheep are short necked alpacas.

The variations in the level designs were really nice, I think it changed things up despite the enemies being the same. It was interesting to have to defend the sheep from different angles. The fox had nice running animations too.
