Seasons by leekanarchism
Welcome to the Seasons.

A puzzle game based on garden and time-travel. Keep the plant nicely watered for four seasons -- in each season it will need an additional water source before you can progress.
Controls: Arrow keys to move. Space to place / remove aquaduct from your current space. Then hold space down to place / remove whilst moving.
My first LD game for a long time! First time playing with Godot. Meant to spend most of the weekend learning how to draw pixel art, but that didn't really happen...
Bugfixes: v1-2: Fixed zoom issues in HTML version. You can now pump up the zoom level to get nice 'n' close to those glorious pixels. Thanks @Binney for the fix! https://godotengine.org/qa/60312/my-game-is-zoomed-out-when-running-my-web-exports-on-mac
If you lay absolutely loads of aquaducts, it will get very laggy and maybe crash. Don't go overboard, please aquaduct responsibly.

The pipe placing does take some getting used to; as does not always being able to walk to the next square because of a hidden tree or bush. Really enjoyable though. :blue_heart:
In the end, I've finished the game and it was nice. I didn't really enjoy that I had couldn't replace a previous season pipe with one of the season I was in. And the placing of the pipe was a bit tedious. Overall, I enjoyed finishing the game!
@thefoppian @kuiefs @nonon yeah I was hoping to keep it a bit cryptic and encourage the player to learn in-game, although I didn't have enough time to make a proper stealth-tutorial and guess I failed to make it self-evident otherwise :) I've now added a better (but short) description here so hopefully that helps the next players!
@marbles interesting, you should be able to hold down space, and it'll either place or remove aquaducts, depending on whether you placed / removed one when you pressed it. I think perhaps my aim of keeping both actions to one button was a bit ambitious and having separate place / remove buttons would've been better.
