That was fun and cute. I wonder if there is a different ending if you don't step on the toes at all.

@usenrame @meatball Thanks for playing.

@tomssuli Thanks, the only 2 endings are decided by dialogue choice. But if you manage to survive dancing indefinitely then you have my respect.

Hello fellow bear! So I LOVED the mood.
I wish the arrows didn't syncro in the end cause it was a bit messy to try and survive long while having to look at the arrows rather than hearing the music, but I know the struggle with syncrho xD

Great entry, gz!

Wonderful!
I couldn't survive the dancing, the keys popped out too much

Lovely game, with a nice warm feel to it. Its a little hard to read the text and play the rhyme game, meaning I missed a lot of the dialogue. Its hard not to feel happy about this game, well done.

Loved the music, would have loved for the input sound to be less "beepy" and more fitting to the general audio. I enjoyed playing!

@manusaiz Thanks yeah synchro can get complicated.

@chukwuebuka-racer @selftitled @eugenik Thanks for playing and the feedback!

@shimali Thank you for playing and I'm glad you noticed that. The sound effects were kind of an after-thought and more in line with the pixel style than the actual mood.

Wow what a beautiful story, even if he steps on her feet they stay together, beautiful art and game, I thought that the difficulty goes up very fast, and one thing in this type of games that we didn't even notice right is the animation after the tip view focused on a single point, congratulations on the game, if you can give me your feedback on my game I am very grateful, a big hug.

Mood : 5 stars

As mere as good. Nice storytelling, nice staging, nice music. With a progressive difficulty (damn moving arrows... :smile: ).
In fact I'm surprised, and I have to say that it's a nice entry

What a wholesome entry :). I like how even if you fail you can still get the "good ending". As someone who is very involved in music it really bothered me that the arrows didn't align with the beats of the waltz haha! I think there's a lot of potential here for you to expand on this idea, maybe prolong it to multiple dances and have a whole slew of choices! And with that it would be great if you wrote your own music for it so you could line up the arrows/beats to really bring this to the next level. The art style was excellent and I loved the atmosphere that came with it. Great work and great entry! Hope you consider expanding on this in the future!

This is what I am looking for on Jams like LD. Something simple yet innovative, with a cool mood and overall interesting idea. Great job.

Very funny idea. I love the mood and the dialogus, and the fact that there's different ending, even if we crushes the dancer's feet all the time ^^ In fact, nothing new, it's just a rythm game. But the humor and mood make it special. If I have one "complain", it would be that the dance is more teleportation than dance. Whatever, thanks for this smooth and funny Ambience!

@etrealjunior @acaral @kohcepba @pedrocoden @katreenashy @matootsy Thank you for playing and the feedback!

@gamechoy Thanks! Yes I wanted the beats to align but in the end I had to design around that. Maybe next rhythm game I'll try a beat detector library or making my own music.

Very cool! I liked how the story was quick and worked well no matter what happened. The instructions were clear (I wasn't sure at first when to push the arrow keys as I didn't see the arrow, but I understood pretty quickly). The graphics are nice and the music fits it really well which all creates a great mood. Overall, a very inventive idea that I enjoyed!

I thought it was really cutesy and sweet. Imagine my surprise when you decided to amp up the difficulty of dancing! Very nice, and a lovely ending.

This was a really sweet little game with really nice graphics and I was really rooting for the guy aha. Like prvious comments, I found it was really difficult with the beats not syncing with the music since I had the block out the music in order to not automatically tap in time. Other than that, really nice entry!

Nice simple little entry with a pleasing aesthetic and audio! One thing that felt weird is that you had cooldown on arrow keys (Or maybe sound is what had cooldown, not sure) and at some point 2 arrows started coming in at once, not sure if this was intentional or a bug hahah. But still, well done on the entry :)

Good job! I love the music but the sound when you choose the right move might be a bit lower.

Cute little game. Guess the only thing I thought could have been better is the indicator for where to hit the arrows. A range or box would have been nice. But it's a minor issue as the game is forgiving in that regard.

Lovely job on such an adorable game!

i enjoyed this quite a bit, the pixel graphics and animation were charming, and the music fit really well too. i actually do social waltz in real life, so this was cool to find in the game jam. nice quote from futurama, perfect!

i got wrecked when the super fast arrows started flying at me (i think the third phase of the game). reminded me of those ridiculous DDR and taiko maps that have different speeds of arrows at the same time.
