The game was very interesting. The camera felt very jolty when moving between rooms and you pretty much had no time to react to the monsters flying at you so you could only last 3 stages. I didn't mind the idea of the loop, getting stuck in a dungeon but wasn't a fan of the music or graphics.

@zen Thanks for the feedback. Maybe I should have added a timer before the enemies started trying to attack you. I made ( almost all ) the art myself, so that's why they were bad.

An interesting interpretation of the theme. Like its said in the rules of Ludum Dare, "programmer art" is very much welcome and I think your attempt at doing the art by yourself was not bad. I like that there is a camera shake when you get hit, its a good way to give visual feedback to the player. There are many things you can improve in this game, like add more enemy variety (with more different behaviours/AI rather than just follow the player). Overall, the game is okay.

@danial-jumagaliyev I'm glad "Programmer art" is welcome. My art sucks lol. Trying to git gud. I made a sprite for a mage enemy, but I could not get pathfinding to make it work sadly.

This has potential, for example by adding some way to spend the gold. The enemies are fairly close to the entry of each room, so there is a good chance you get hit immediately if you don't anticipate them.

@fachscahfttf You think I should have made the rooms bigger then? Probably...

Enemies swarm quite fast, it's a challenge to not die in the first few seconds. Otherwise nice game.

Interesting concept! Moving back to new positions definitely adds a lot of challenge to the game, but the enemies respond a bit too quickly so it sometimes just feels like an insta-death situation whenever you tp. Overall, I really liked the idea, and would love to see you expand on it :)

Enemy movement is interesting, it seems they accelerate towards you but it makes start of the level a bit too hard. Nice shooter overall.

This game definitely has potential, and there a few small things you can do to make it feel loads better without changing much:
- Make the player hitbox smaller
- Make the enemy hitboxes bigger
- Make the terrain collision match the visuals

The juicy camera shake was great, and I enjoyed slaying enemies. Controls felt pretty good as well!

I like the concept. It's a cool and easy to understand game.

Good attempt! The controls work really well and I enjoyed the challenge. I would really enjoy some different behaviours from the different enemies if you keep working on this after the jam.

I really wish I could hold down the mouse button to shoot instead of having to mash it.

I think this has some potential, reminds me of a rogue-like. I think you had a good idea earlier in the comments to add a time delay to when the enemies attack you. I always struggle with gauging how hard my own games will be for others to play, but since you are likely the creator and play tester you have to remember that when deciding if something feels like a challenge or just frustrating. Nonetheless a great first ld entry!

@darthone Appreciate that. Maybe I should *really* (try) to do that.

@hungrycatgames Ok, 4th person to tell me this. I *really( need to try to make enemies spawn with a delay.

@firebelley by making enemies hit boxes bigger I'd need to re-work all those stages, as they'd get stuck. Unless I made another hit-box. The player hit box might be too big tho. Appreciate you talking about the juiiiiiiiiiice. :D

Congrats for this game
This is a nice entry for a first game
The game lacks mechanics but the core system is here.
Carry on !

Nice game! I have a few suggestions I think that you need to make the player faster and have more hearts and make the enemies slower.

@botskills101 I cannot make the player faster, as the "maps" would be too short. However, maybe I should make the player start with more health.

It's a very interesting idea. I felt comfortable with the controls. The mechanics of the bow and arrow are very functional and fun. Maybe you could keep working on that game, I believe it has potential. I can imagine a bigger and more complete version of that game. Good job.

I really liked your game, it has a good sound, it matches the style of play, the arts are cool, I just thought that the monsters don't leave time for the player to have any reaction, he always suffers damage to have that time, but congratulations for the work, I wish you a lot of luck, in the future project improvements, a big hug.

I like the simple mechanics and the even though the creatures are a bit fast, it wasn't too difficult. Also, nice pixel art -- especially the zombie/gremlin things. :) Nice work overall!
