It's a bit repetitive or I missed something. I love the hybrid design btw.

@nicolas-diniz yeah, was trying to build up tension... in retrospect I should have made it less repetitive. Thank you for playing!
(And thanks about the design too!)

It's a nice game,
I would've enjoyed if there was a way to keep the plant happy and prolong the game(if there is I'm sorry i didnt catch it).

Lowkey terrifying, watching how it grows in the basement. A bit unclear what to really do though, I didn't fully understand why I got so slowed down... still a cool game you got there! :)

@M8rix It was my attempt to convey fatigue and guilt :P Thanks for playing!
(Also there is an ending if you never got to it)

@west I was thinking about it, but had to cut it due to time. Would have been cool though. Thanks for playing and the feedback!

That worked perfectly on me. Even the repetition was enjoyable because it made every changing detail scarier. But in the end I think what terrifies me the most is to imagine a restaurant where they only serve tomato soup.

I liked it, a proper micro game for a jam. The ending was predictable but enjoyable! The mood is set very well. All the stats of the customers made little sense to me, and in general the process of choosing who to "send away" could be made easier by showing the stats of the customer you overlap with, and pressing space to "send them away".

Fun concept! Liked the graphics and the story. Well done!

Interesting story. Is there only that one end where you lose? Or do the stats of the customers actually matter?

During the last round the player is really annoyingly slow :)

I really love Little Shop of Horrors, so of course I had to try this out! It's a neat idea, and I would love to see what you could do with this if you had more time. Good job!

This was a cool and horrifying way to spend 10 minutes of my life! I did two playthroughs to see if anything changes depending on people sent to the Hybrid - looks like it didn't. I wish there was a different ending based on that! I originally thought that if I send well-connected people to the Hybrid, the restaurant will get raided by police, so tried to focus on outcasts. Next time I tried choosing the happiest people. I think if you had different endings based on such parameters, people would replay this just to unlock them all =)

@eldar Funnily enough that was the exact ending I had planned, but didn’t have time to implement in a non-confusing way, haha. Thanks for playing!

@hanamigi yeah, in retrospect I should have placed more emphasis on the stats portion of the game. Thanks for playing and the feedback though!

That was a nice little story driven game. I was expecting the plant to grow enormous and take over the restaurant! Good work!

This held my attention pretty well! It was a fun little adventure to see what was going to happen. I figured out that I could just press S on someone without having to press Space first, and only had to place one bowl of soup. I was able to go in and out of the room repeatedly and continually send someone to the hybrid over and over. Maybe that was a bug. Was there a different ending besides being eaten after the manager appears?

Gutted I can't play this as I did a little shop inspired game too  Any chance you'll port to HTML5?

@liam Maybe in the future, but I’m worried that it won’t scale up very well and look ugly. Thanks for trying to play though!

@blackopsben Huh, never caught that bug. Thanks for telling me and playing the game!
(And there wasn’t a different ending because I ran out of time to implement one)

Interesting concept! On my resolution (1366 x 768) the text got a bit broken, I couldn't read it very well. I felt a little confused about what I was doing in the game, like if I was choosing correctly or not. There is no hint either, at least I didn't get any. But overall it had a nice mood and I feel that it has a lot of potential!

@eduardo-yukio Huh, that's really weird. I don't think I have control over the text breaking though with Gamemaker with different resolutions (am probably wrong lol) :/ There are no correct or incorrect decisions, I was going to program endings but I didn't have time.
Thanks for playing!

I liked it! I especially liked how you change the sprite and the speed. It is getting very slow at the end, but also there's clearly a point to it, so I don't think it's not bad at all and the last part also doesn't drag on too long - it ends at the right time. I only wish there would be more information about the guests, as the numbers didn't tell anything and the decision, which one to "sacrifice" didn't have any meeaning.
