I have to say that some of these levels were hard but it was very fun nonetheless. I also really love that the water kills your flame.

Gameplay feels tight and satisfying! Sometimes it was really tough to see the water squirting through the air against the dark background, especially while moving quickly through the level.

i think that controls are bit clunky. The concept work well and is quite funny! Good job!

Movement feels great! I liked the fact that you didn't immediately die when your flame went out so you can run around the level and work out where you needed to be.

The game kept losing focus of the mouse every time I tried to play so I couldn't get past the start :/

great job man, Really fun game. Loved The Physics on the Torch Though The Jumps were a bit unresponsive at times. and perhaps having some more control while airborne would be nice.

Thanks everyone for the feedback!

@treska that's no good! I had experienced a similar bug but it only happened rarely and I didn't have time to figure it out. Could you elaborate on what was happening?

I've had simmilar experience as the people who played before me with this game. The only thing I couldn't figure out is how to play level editor stages which I really want to know! I really liked the minimalist art style, it's very nice!Really nicely done !

Fun game, hard too. The controls need a little bit of work maybe, sometimes the wall jump is not that responsive so I end up dying U.U. Congrats!!!

@lukvasando Currently the only way to test levels from the level editor is to start a new game, go back to the menu, use the level editor, and then hit "continue" from the main menu and it will be on the level you created. Janky, I know, but given the time constraints I never added a better way to do it since it was good-enough to get the main levels done

@mabrax @whynotyt @carlofalltrades I believe the problems you're having are because wall-jumping was only allowed when sliding down a wall, so if you were moving up the wall it didn't work. This was one of the things I was unsure about, and I think next time I'd allow it regardless of your momentum. Thanks for the feedback!

Really fun game with robust platforming mechanics. I will say a couple things about the platforming, since I've made games with similar mechanics before. The control is a bit "squirrely," I guess. It's cool getting to go really fast with a good run up, but it makes it difficult to land precise jumps. And that's the other thing, there are a few spots where you have to land on one tile, which isn't usually good design for a platformer unless the control is really precise. That being said, it's still a really good platformer, and including a level editor is seriously above and beyond. I could see it making a really sick speedrun. Nice job.
