Bug report: Sometimes opponents don't attack the defibrillator
I think if you were going to build on this:
- An updated UI would also be cool, maybe with some custom images for buttons
- The difficulty is probably too high at the start, and it would be better if you generated money automatically (like the suns in pvz) because if you lose your towers you're basically dead.
- I think the color scheme could be improved somewhat. The green and brown don't look awesome together.
Overall really awesome game. I have no idea how you managed to make this in 3 days, it would take me about a month. :laughing: :ok_hand:
@digitallimestone
Don't go down like that, making a video game is not easy so a short jam I let you imagine (especially if it's your first one, and you're alone on the project (I might be wrong).)
Don't forget that it happens to make mistakes, I wish you good luck for the rest and good health !
ps: sorry for my english, i use a traductor because i'm french ahah
To improve, I wish the different units had more distinct functions. I came up with my strategy for gel/bomber behind a shield but more strategic options like the Plants vs. Zombies sunflowers, walnut, and squash could help vary it up.
It would've been nice to have a more polished UI, I think just having the symbols and cost in the build menu would've been sufficient if you provided information in a little UI-element that appears when hovering over a unit (that way, there wouldn't be a need to scroll). Also, some information in general about the units would've been nice.
The visuals and animations are pretty nice! (although the colors are a bit on the bright side)
The game started lagging a bit when there was more going on, but hey, it's a jam, that's totally fine :)
Enjoyed this overall, good job!
