T.A.P.E. Acquiring Proof Expertly by p-brighenti
T.A.P.E. is a recursive acronym which stands for T.A.P.E. Acquiring Proof Expertly, so now you are stuck in a loop reading this. That's it. That's the whole game, thanks for playing.

Description
(First time doing a game jam! This was nerve wracking.)
T.A.P.E. is a humorous puzzle game that contains 3 levels with very different types puzzles, including a 3d sound puzzle. You have just been (un)willingly recruited to work at a crummy detective agency while walking around town and now you'll have to make do by solving some cases!

Very polite game

Speakers on!

Some notes
I wish I could up the text speed but I'm afraid that it'll then be too fast for some people.
I hope you enjoy being stuck with T.A.P.E. Man while I fumble around in my first Unity project. Have a great LD!

Edit: First time using LD. Actually thoguht this was a blog post. Nevermind me.
About to update the game builds on Itch.io with some minor bug and UX fixes.
Keep jamming!
Thanks for playing and for the feedback!
So despite not acting on it (for this game in particular), this feedback is super valuable from a game design/development perspective.
Thank you!
other than that I enjoyed the game and the concept was amazing, congratz on your first jam <3
@fadrikalexander Oh wow, my bad. I was converting the user's answer to lower case before validating it but apparently I forgot to include that back in when I redid the input sanitization using LINQ. You are totally right, thanks for letting me know! I'll fix this today after work.
The first puzzle was spot on. The cool text effects were clever. The 2nd puzzle I thought was an interesting idea too, but I was a little confused in how to tackle it. The use of the left and right side of stereo was ingenious though: I was initially playing with speakers and then felt like a badass putting headphones on for that particular puzzle. I wonder how many more tapes there were after that? Would be cool to be able to skip the level if we get stuck.
Overall, amazing job, can't believe it's your first go at a jam and Unity is not super easy to use either!
