This game is deceitfully hard, I love it. Definelty fits the theme well. I will be playing this somemore :v:

on a laptop so I was strugling a little to play the game, but that's mostly my fault. fun game anyhow! :)

Loved this! The music, the smoke & explosion effects were excellent. Highlight was somehow making it through the wall of birds. Well done!

I do see the similarity you mentioned! Controls very nicely and the music's pretty groovy. Had me hooked for a while!

Oh these controls are super fun! I love how simple they are but there's quite a bit of nuance to it. Very nice!

I found this extremely challenging until I realised it's possible to slow down with RMB - I know you've put it in the description but for people who aren't very bright sometimes (like me), an ingame tutorial or reminder would be cool (maybe even just something on the start screen). But very fun nonetheless and the little touches like UFOs and the density of objects increasing is nice. I did find myself accidentally smashing into planes that came in from the top/bottom of the screen before I could react a lot, but that might just be my slow reactions!

This is fantastic! Simple easy to understand controls that are hard to master, great job!

A fun very well made little game. I like the simple controls and the music. The visuals is okay, but it could have been better. Overall a good jam game. Well done.

Man, This Has The Potential To Be The Next Flappy Bird. I'd Consider Polishing this and Releasing it on Mobile If I Were You. The Controls Were The perfect Balance Of Difficulty and Rewarding-ness?. The Music Perfectly Fit The Game. Great Job!.

Fun game!

Good sound effects.
Snappy controls, I felt in control, and even when I died I felt like I could've avoided it.
Chasing high scores is fun.
Having music was good for the atmosphere.

The graphics are very simple and the contrasts were a bit too harsh, but it didn't get in the way of the experience. The big blue sky and the smoke effects from the plane made for a great atmosphere.

The music was a bit too repetetive, but that's to be expected for a game jam. However, if i had 10 minutes and could change one thing it would be to have some kind of melody play over the loop (I just realized the music was stuck in a loop, was that on purpose?), even for just a few measures.

Overall- it was good fun!

Brilliant! Would be a perfect mobile arcade game.
Two issues though: music resets upon death (it's very jarring) and the bird wall can be avoided.

It's an evolution of flappy bird. Well in the theme, and the control is difficult, but clean and clear. The sound is adapted. Perhaps the music a bit too repetitive. Well done, but really too difficult for me. I don't have patience to anticipate the direction with this loops and only two buttons. But for the fans of the genre it's successful.

Aha, I love the idea, but I might be biased because I had a pretty similar one! Love the execution it's pretty neat, the fact that can accelerate and decelarate is really a nice touch. I crashed in aliens ships way too many times  It's fun and addictive, well done!

Cool little game. Really good interpretation of the theme. It's pretty hard (which I like). I wonder how it could be expanded, 'cause I have no clue.

So on about my 4th or 5th attempt at your game, it dawned on me as some of the others have stated that not only are you in a loop, but ALL the other planes seem to be in a loop as well. And the music is just a never ending loop... Really well done! I like the simple graphics, but the smoke and particles are some nice touches that add so much to the overall experience of this game! Would love to see a post jam version if you can come up with any other ideas to improve upon it!
I thought my high score of 131 was pretty good until I looked at your screenshot lol

I really liked this one! Controls felt great and the sound/music fit well. This is the sort of thing I could see people play a lot wile riding the bus.
