Through Cosmos by Hadryel
In this game you play as an astronaut trapped in a cycle of scavenging for resources and fighting for survival, running against time to keep the pace of exploring the Cosmos and avoid a weird demise.
This is the second time I'm going for COMPO. I'm satisfied with the result, for a 48h run, but the code went downhill pretty early. Feel free to message me if you're willing to discuss anything about it, or any gamedev related stuff.

I also had trouble in the beginning figuring out how to get resources, I think you should add a simple text in the description of the game here explainting the controlls!
Liked simple gameplay rules. This is also good that you did instruction page!
And cool particles while mining resources ;) But maybe need to more explicitly indicate when you can / cannot to mining - I mean the situation when you need to take correct position to be able to mine; other way you "miss" the object
And IMO, maybe need to tie the increasing time capacity **not** with killing enemies, because it's a bit strange; instead on just finding something kinda "capsules of time" in hidden places.
But anyway, I had fun playing your game!
P.S. I think you shouldn't worry about code base on game jam. Because time is very limited, it's better to focus on game in general ;)
In general, it's a nice cute little game.
Gameplay was nice, good combination of combat and resource gathering with nice touches such as the weapon reload or the drilling needing some time to finish. The laser is not really shooting where the mouse is, which felt a little frustrating sometimes :P
was also great to just pick up and play without very many instructions - that said I think you did a great job with the tutorial slides!
I had to chuckle when I was drilling the trees :D
Good job, I had fun!
The gameplay got repetitive quickly, but I think you could solve that by adding some upgrades in between levels. Like making the gun bigger and badder, along with the enemies. Seems like it turn into an addictive, never-ending gameplay loop.
Btw, those orange aliens were my favorite :P
