I loved the style of the game! I would like to point out that I didn't find myself using the dash much, but that might just be me. Another thing is that the drones seemed like they were the only real threat because they followed you around the loop, but it didn't really matter because they spawned at a rate where there was always at least one on the screen. This kept the game at a solid difficulty level. Well done!

Quite a fun game! However it could do with some graphics improvement

Fun game! I had a similar idea for something like this (that we didnt go with). Glad to see that it would have been a fun game! :D great job!

That was really cool, how did you build this game? I had fun just waltzing down the hallway killing all in my way, haha.

Somehow you made "those" levels from Contra actually fun and engaging. Very fun. If I have to criticize it, I could use more variety on the graphics and sound department. Good job!

Really enjoyed the controls. If I had to give feedback I'd say that the enemy projectiles were a little too fast to reliably dodge. I really love the hallway effect

Very nice game! I felt that it's missing an aiming cursor though. I loved the consistent visuals and mood

I really like the arcade vibe and the controls feel good although i think the gun could use a more punchy sound when shot.

I'm pretty impressed with your ability to execute something like this in a weekend! It has room to grow- I felt there wasn't a lot that separated it from a rail shooter, but it was executed well, and the game was pretty fun to play. The audio got a little samey pretty quick though

Your music is really good. I enjoyed the gameplay although I found myself a little disoriented at first at where a shot would land if I aimed towards the ceiling, but I was able to figure it out pretty quick. Solid LD entry.

Great game. I would have liked to see health pickups. I got to 33k points and then died! I'll have to try again later to hit that 40k threshold and see what surprise is in store.

Shooting and hitting things felt really good which I think was important you guys did considering it was 99% of the game. With more polish and some more ideas (powerups etc etc) I could see this being a really satisfyingshoot-em-up.

Fun and simple game. I felt like the enemy HP was a little too high and it took a long time to kill them, especially when there was a lot of enemies and it was hard to tell which ones you had already weakened.

The dash and the ability to slow down didn't feel particularly useful - I think it would be fine if you just went full speed all the time, without having to hold forward, unless other hazards like spikes or other obstacles in the stage were added.

It might've been nice to have some sort of feeling of "progress" like having the game be divided up into "stages" or something - I only replayed the game once to try and get a better score and then I mostly lost interest.

The music and graphics were cool, though, so I think this has potential to have more depth. Good work.

Really fun game! I really loved your graphics and audio. In my playtime I discovered that it is somehow easier to shoot when walking slow but it's definitely way less fun to do that. So maybe an incentive to go faster in this game would be nice to implement? Great entry nonetheless!

Loved the artstyle, looks very unique. I don't find the dash very useful, i beat the game almost without using it. Anyways, great job. Keep it up!
