Scare Your Pants Off! by wallyfoo

You have an oblivious be-monocled, mustachioed, aristocrat, "Sir", going about his day in various rooms throughout his manor. There are ghosts who want to scare him to death. You're a friendly poltergeist throwing things in the manor at the ghosts to drive them away.

Sir is blissfully unaware of the war waging around him. If he gets hit, he loses an article of clothing 3x. When he's down to his top hat and underwear, the next hit will scare him to death.

Gameplay is simple. Click on items in the room and drag them away from your target to fling them at the those pesky spooks.

Didn't really get what I was supposed to do, but I think I broke the game. All the ghosts were stuck. Loved the artstyle though.

Great Job ! The sound when ghost steals something love it ! And a lot of differents items, well drawn. Only one matter, have to pull down to shoot, it's difficult when items are on the ground.

The overall look and art of this game is really, really good. Every element works together and is release-quality. With some depth, this could be a really nice mobile game. Great job.

I played on firefox and it works great, nice job on the graphics and sound design even if i think the music is not original i think ? Had fun playing but damn this aristocrat must have really strong muscles to keep the sitting pose even without the chair x)![Capture.PNG](///raw/abc/c2/z/316b1.png)

Great art, sound/music and a really interesting physics based game play idea!

I had a couple of game play issues, the items all fall to the floor when you use them, meaning it's really hard to get a good fling on them and reach the ghosts, as my cursor goes off the window - and secondly, I got a bug where all the ghosts stopped moving and more stopped spawning. But I'm sure both of them would pretty pretty easily fixable!

Well done - thanks for sharing!

Nice graphics, solid gameplay. It's sometimes hard to toss things that are at the edges, might have been better if you pulled the mouse in the direction you want to throw instead of the opposite. Either way, very well done!

Sir has really strong legs :) Our plan was to have him stand, but we found this funny. We intended to have him walk into the room - but ran out of time.

To everyone who has left a comment: Thank you for all your kind words. This was our first Lundum Dare. It was a very enjoyable, fun experience. It also helped us make the time to learn Godot.

Absolutely wonderful art lad or lass. Love the game play. Is there a win state? It felt unclear to me.

@owlhowell, glad you liked it :) You win when Sir survives, and you hear the fanfare - although we should probably do something more with this. From all this feedback - we plan to make time to polish it up and release it for mobile :)

Godot rules my friends!

The art style is fantastic and the idea works really well. Gives you different results because of the size of objects.
In a certain point (playing on WebGL) the game got stuck but these things happen haha

Overall great entry :)

It sure is fun to throw objects around XD I also love the expressions and health indication of Sir. The variety of rooms with different object each makes a new play through refreshing as well. Not quite sure about this, but I start getting bugs after I won a level. Nevertheless, the art is amazing and I enjoyed the game. :D

@specturnal thanks for the feedback, I noticed the bugs creeping in after winning too. We will be tinkering and fixing some of them as the response has been really positive and enthusiastic :)

What a fun jam entry !

I really liked the art style and the music was perfectly fitting.
I had a few bugs but I won't go through them since they have already been developed in the reviews ahead

If the game gets a little fix, I'll definitely come back and try it again!
