It would have been nice to have a bit more sound feedback as the white blob moves around. But the music was enjoyable and it's far better than having no sound at all.
I found this game quite fun, so thanks for sharing it. :thumbsup:
Thanks for the game.
@thepelranthean Thank you so much! I did plan to add some sound effects for the player movement, but I ran out of time. I spent like 3 hours on the soundtrack :D
@zwodahs Thank you, I think there can still be more done with the mechanics, though. I was thinking about colored lasers and spikes, too. But I spent the last few hours on refining the current mechanics and creating a couple more levels.
Loved the easter eggs :D (I also discovered the other one :P)
That was a fun experience!
You created a really nice ambience with the few, clear colors, the nice lighting and the music!
Funnily enough I feel like I watched a Brackeys tutorial lately which was all about lighting, positioning and presentation to make the game feel better, I somehow found a lot of those things in this game :D was that an inspiration?
I feel like you did a great job in building solid, simple mechanics, building on top of them and, branching out with some interesting ideas such as powerups, portals, interesting drops, jumps and teasing of the trophies and then filled that with lots of content. I really like where that all got you, the end product is really nice!
Nice and neat platformer. The track "Continuum" on the soundcloud is quite good!🐿️
@fumybulb Unfortunatly, I did not have time to make it real, but I wanted to make a "secret" area in every level where there would be a little squirrel to find. I didn't expect anyone would check out my soundcloud though! I'm glad you liked it :)
Graphics were simple, but worked. It is obviously an area for improvement, but it had a lot of charm. The bloom around the white slime is nice.
I appreciate the volume slider also.
I think the most confusing part for me was that I reset every time I picked up a trophy, so at first I thought I was dying. A really nice baseline for some neat levels!
@godsboss You're definitely not "anyone" :D
@alpharock6 Thank you :) Yes, it needs either some information about the resetting or some visuals/audio to make it more obvious that it's not a death.
@wiseclock Squirrels are great :D Thank you.
The minimalist graphics are excellent, and I like the music. The mechanics are introduced in a nice progressive way, which is great! The levels were all fairly easy, just a matter of exploring. Maybe some more tricky puzzles would be nice.
