However, some things are not really well optimized, so we plan to release a "post-jam" version of the game on Itch.io later on.
One of the things that was left out of the final jam build was the dog's implementation. It looks weird, because you can hear the dog, but can't see him.
@tarvisplays Thank you! The layering problem is something we noticed on the final moments, while we were also fixing other stuff. But yeah, it's been fixed and will be on the post-jam version! :)
@nohua Thanks! I believe you meant the dog's barks. They were supposed to work under a different system, but due to other bugs we had to change how the system works. But thanks for the feedback! We'll work to improve this later on!
@etrealjunior thanks! We'll check your game too!
@peringo @patrick1 @gregoryblomquist wow, thank you all very much! We're really happy to see that even though our whole idea couldn't be totally finished during the jam, we still managed to get some things right!
We're definitely working to improve the game and finish what we started, so if you're interested, please follow the game on Itch.io, as we'll soon be adding a new download option for an updated version of the game, with improved level design, the remaining sound and art implementations, and of course, the dog!
I guess the goal is to find your dog and leave. This was very unclear until I read your description. Even after I read I didn't completely know what to do.
The forrest was nice and moody and the music fit but aside from that I didn't enjoy the game. Just walking around is a bit boring. But maybe I didn't get he full experience because I didn't find the dog.
Overall good-looking and sounding game with an interesting premise but it needs something more to be fun.
