Description

Keep it Live is a live stream chat moderator simulation game. It features five different channels that are totally original and definitely not a parody of real streamers. Each channel requests specfic rules that the chat must follow. If a viewer falls out of line, you must BAN them! Your task is to keep the channel alive without failing 3 times.

The download is zipped up and contains two files, an exe and a data folder. You need both to play the game, so just unzip the files and double click the exe to launch!

Very interesting concept! Good graphics, I dig the music and sound. Very good overall, game just gets unbeatable and frustrating on higher levels... Literally no idea how to beat Bob Ross+!

Quite a fun game concept! This is an amazing turn on the theme, and a pretty entertaining game. It gets very hard though, and it seems very repetitive. Still, amazing!

This was such a unique idea. I really loved it! Everything flowed really well together, and I love how you put knockoff names of streamers. Great job on everything!

I love this game so much. It is hilarious, and it seems so real. The comments are funny, and I like all of the different variations in rules. Try as I could, I unfortunately couldn't beat the channels 4 and 5. They were just too hard. The graphics are perfect for the style and humor. I also love the way that the title is a play on words but also still fits the theme. Way to go!

We had a lot of fun making this game and we laughed so many times coming up with the streamers and chat messages. I am so happy to see so much love and I will make sure to go and review each one of your games as well! Also side note, JasmineOld & RobBoss are very hard but they are beatable, it just takes many attempts.

Cool concept, and this could be a fun game.

Sadly, I was almost unable to play it:
- the text is scrolling really fast, and I had trouble reading some of it.
- it seemed that clicking on the 'BAN' button didn't do anything. Or at least there was no visual feedback and I quickly ended up with Rob Boss banned. I think there might be some technical issue there.

What I loved:
- your selection of channels.
- the visuals.
- some of the comments (I managed to read).

This is a fun game idea which is well executed. I like the graphics and the humor in the chat messages. I often found it difficult to know who and what to ban. I had to play the individual streams over and over just to get tha hang of what was allowed/disallowed. Maybe that is some of the point of the game though. Anyway, solid submission.

Really good execution of the theme! Loved it! Pretty good simulation of what a moderator's job must feel like ;D Also felt quite polished!

Cool concept, nice graphics, good execution! Just a bit too hard. Even if there is instructions on what has to be banned, I struggled at banning the right things (but that's maybe because I'm not a native english speaker).

Damn I've never rate this high before. The elements combined perfectly! Such a nice UI, Great concept, The sounds and musics are suit very well, Animations of the UI are pretty good as well, and much more. This game is actually fun, but frustrated at the same time. The higher level the harder it goes, the last level is very impossible for me and I would like to watch the full game with more than 10 levels played by speedrunners or rhythm master. Such a cool game man, I would love to see your next submission on LD 47!

I _really_ love this idea! The UI and sound design is slick, you recreated the feel of Twitch really nicely, and the chat honestly could have fooled me into thinking it was real if it wasn't for the game being obvious (though, twitch chat isn't super complex to begin with, so i'm not suuuuper surprised :sweat_smile: )
My only two complaints are the lack of a quick restart button - having to go back through the main menu is a little annoying - and I found the last level a little too difficult. Otherwise, I really enjoyed this! Great job

It’s very polished and moreover it’s pretty close to the reality. I found the third level a bit hard, the two next are just impossible for me because of the speed. I liked it a lot!

This is definitely one of the best interpretations of the theme that I have seen. On the faster levels clicking the ban buttons can get pretty annoying, and I wish on game over there was a restart button instead of having to go back to the main menu. Definitely a really great idea though and a very polished looking game for a game jam.
