Mostly a compo project but needed the extra time. Since I was entering in the jam I could include better music, so I did not make the music for this one.
I apologize for no HTML5, but for some odd reason the loader hangs up in HTML5 ¯_(ツ)_/¯ (Edit.. Thanks Oxropy for pointing out the HTML5 loading issue, game loads in HTML5, but mechanics are broken in it so still unplayable in browser. Further apologies)

Love it or hate it leave a comment. Do it. Do it now. Or else.
Also, pls let me know your scores!
I feel you on the dizzy factor, if you manage to get into the zone its a little PTSD-y... The original plan was to have the monster who chases nag you, but the crunch set in, and a silly commentary was born.
I think it could have been improved just with a gradual speed increase - but overall this was a really fun entry.
regards your HTML5 problem in this [blogpost](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/legendary-orbit-golf/publish-for-web) it says
"For Unity you might need to disable compression in the web player settings before exporting" maybe this will help.
Edit: It Worked, but now there are input bugs.... tehe
I completely sucked at it and always eventually ended up hitting the spiky ball in the air  A great job on the game!
The spikes were challenging to say the least. My playstyle was lining up the grubs, ramming into it for a bounce, and then trying to land on other grubs like Burrito Bison or something lol.
Needless to say it was incredibly challenging. I must've played that for 20-30 minutes trying to figure out how to get past certain spike formations without grubs to bounce off of. I finally gave up with a high score of 700ish.
Only when I came back here and read the comments did I realize I was playing the game wrong the whole time! I hopped back in with a controller and it was like the weighted training clothes came off, I just breezed through it.
Anyways, regardless of which "mode" I played, I still enjoyed it. A unique theme and a good take on the looping worlds idea!
I am curious to know what you were able to score after so much DBZ style training.?
Thanks for playing, and I am glad you were entertained!
I saw that you were almost alone, it's a nice project.
I find that it lacks a little bit of speed sensation and that the flying enemies arrive too fast, in certain direction if you are in the area when they appear, you can simply do nothing, it's a little bit of a pity, but I know a little bit about the problem and I know that it's not necessarily an easy thing to solve.
I really like the unfolding effect and the art of the planet.
very good work :)

Tbh I'm not sure, I guess I'm Ultra Instinct Goku at this point because I can't see myself dying any time soon. I just mostly feel crosseyed at this point and have to stop lol.

Edit: That's a good point about the grubs acting as a shield on the spikes. I would never had known that had I not played the wrong way at first. In my real runs I could utilize them as a temporary shield and gobble them up after I got over them.
Achieved 32277 once I figured out what was going on. The keyboard controls were not obvious.
It's a very solid entry, but again, your voiceover just steals the show :'D
The game was very quick to get into and understand and was enjoyable.
I personally found it was fairly easy, but I quite like this kind of game. I also found a sneaky way to make it a lot easier ;) :

The game proves that you can create a really interesting project in a short period of time!
Thanks for playing!
Thanks for Playing!
Thanks for submitting your game!
I liked the auto follow bite and the sounds you made for it, very on point, on the other hand I'm not sure what the purple box were supposed to be (platform, obstacle, both?).
I found it nice and intuitive that jump makes you move faster (like no friction with the ground) making you escape easier from the monster but also with a bit less control (being that fast) and the risk of getting caught by the rotating spikes. I mean that it has a good balance with its pros and cons, you can't just spam it.
The visual are nice though could be more consistent since the worms have a slightly different style, like the purple platform.
The music fits the game, but your voice could be barely heard. I'm not a native english one so it made it harder to follow, not considering I have to follow the game too =/ I'm also not a fun of that kind of humor, so I can't say I liked it for personal preferences. You could also make it so that it does not restart when you die, so it does not sound repetitive. I've seen in the comments tho that someone got that as an incentive to reach higher score (listen to all the track).
For the keyboard controls, you may remove the need of a mouse and just use 2 other buttons for jumping and biting (w to jump space to bite?)
That said, it works without problems, keep going!
I hadnt thought of it until now, but it probably would have been much better to have all the slugs smaller versions of the big guy. Commentary was done in such haste, at the end, when creative juices where all but dried up, there are certainly some voicelines that are a bit out of place.
Thanks for playing and taking the time to analyze it. End of the day we make games for them to be played, always happy to have them played. ;)
And for the keyboard controls, I made the game with a XB1 controller in hand, never remapped the keyboard/mouse inputs, sorry for that!
Anyway, I've tried the new setup and it works pretty well, it's more comfortable and intuitive. This time I was able to reach 20k, but I think the main change you made was to not reset your recording, so I was able to listen to it all. It was way more enjoyable to listen to it this way, while playing in a chilly way.
I still had a hard time following what you were saying, mostly because it was hard to hear you (this time I was also not wearing headphones and it was even worse).
I'm very glad you care about your game being enjoyable, but in the end you have to make the changes only if you think they are worthy/right to you, not because an asshole like me complained ahah
O and this time, I don't know why, I looked more at the planet and it has a simple sprite, but I was charmed by the rotating flowers on it, can't say why tho lol
