Joe Disco

New York, 1976. The year is lookin' good. You're feeling the vibes and you want to boogie it out at the nightclub. No doubt, there's only one place to go: Boogie Wonderland. When you arrive, the party seems to have passed its zenith, but you're here to keep the party alive. Because YOU. ARE. DISCO. JOE!

How to play

Press the correct keys which are moving on the lower screen when they reach the black bar. If you are doing a good job, the HYPE meter will grow and the party will be ON FIRE. But if not... well, you better don't find out.

The game is a little too difficult for me, but I can hit the letters sometimes. The art and mood are fantastic, as is the interpretation of the theme. Nice implementation of a cool idea

Really cool game. I like the aesthetic, and the voice lines are funny. I found that the choice of keys was a bit strange! This game would probably be better suited for a controller.

Love the style. nice twist on the genre, music and graphics were good. Could really have used some way to predict what was coming, like if they were words or something. Also, I was busy looking for the next letters on the far right and I couldn't look over and see what's going on at the left. Don't know why you have graphics and sound unrated. Would be high scores from me.

Love the art, audio, and concept, had a great time!! The key sequence is pretty hard to hit because it seems like there are three possible keys per row? That's a pretty hard rhythm game!! Still a lot of fun though! :D

Music and graphics were great and liked the sound effects but the letters moved by way too fast and were a bit too far apart/random.

Good effort though!

DANCE! BOOGIE WONDERLAND... Love it. Great typing exercise, i am a slow typer.. would love to have like a full vs of this so i could "groove and improve" at the same time.. Someone should call the bouncer...

Funny game :D. This game reminded me of a mission from the GTA san andreas where dancing was very difficult :).

Funny little game! I liked the style, reminded me of Parappa the Rapper. I wish the letters were a little bit easier to read, though. Nice work!

This game was tough for me but I kept going back and trying again. The voices were great but I wish I had some more voices for when I did well. The music had me tapping my feet.

I hope someone else's Joe Disco kept the party going because my Joe Disco wasn't doing so hot. Overall fun game!

I'm not good for this kind of game, but realisation is excellent. Graphics, voice acting, sfx really good vibe on the dance floor !!!!!

Good vibe, graphics are great and music is spot on!

I wish the characters were dancing on the beat and you would have to press letters in rhythm as well. Maybe a little too difficult with so many letters. It's a nice take on the theme! Well done.

I'm the funk master! That was fun although pretty difficult, took me a while to get into the groove. Loved the voicelines, excellent work!

Interesting take on a guitar hero ;). This is a very nice little game that I completely suck at. The addition of the spoken comments was a very nice bit of polishing and the graphics were nice to look at.
It really does feel polished. Great job!
