Corporate Slave Rabbit by JoshuaRabbit

[raw]
made by JoshuaRabbit for Ludum Dare 46 (COMPO)

What is 'alive'? In my view, 'alive' can be defined as physically alive or spiritually alive. This game is about a corporate slave struggling from being spiritually death, and you need to help him find the balance point between rest and work to keep both spiritually and physically alive. This game is super, super short and you can reach 3 ending in about 5 minutes , just by choosing different choices. It is my first time using my voice to make the game sound. It should have Day2 Part originally, but I don't have enough time for I am also a corporate slave.

Cute graphics and the story carries a deep meaning. I think it is cool that there are multiple endings. Even for a small game it has replayability ^^

@joshuarabbit it's okay i was able to find the 3 ends of your "game" !
It's fresh and different, but i like it !
For the gameplay ... erf xD
Is it an autobiographic game/novel ?
I think you can make a full visual novel with more time

Good job ! and continue ! I hope you'll be present for the next Jam (and mister Rabbit too)

Cool little game, very short but still an interesting piece of 'interactive' fiction. Graphics are well done, and I thought you did a good job with the voice overs - kudos!

Very interesting entry indeed. The sound production is an admirable effort. The game is small and short but it can be easily expanded and enriched. Good job.

My first readthrough I managed to die within about 30 seconds. Poor rabbit. Love the art style! Reminds me of that paper cut-out animation style.

what a great concept. I wish you could add more "levels". But I know, that would hurt the dayjob ;)

Interesting game with a message that I find naive and self-defeating. Seems autobiographical. I liked the sound design, and the graphics are ok. Suggestion: after asking the player if they would rather sleep or draw, put "sleep" and "draw" as possible answers, not "yes" or "no", because the player is making a choice between two options, not answering a yes or no question (e.g. "do you want apples or pears?" will be answered with either of those fruits, not with a yes/no).

The sound FX are great xD, the game is pretty simple, but the message is powerful, great job, perhaps adding a bit more complexity in the mini-game area, such as doulbe life pillows or something like that could make the game to be a little more interesting. Great experience and a nice aesthetic for a jam, congratulations :)

Compo is so tough, there is just never enough time for everything you want, and often not enough time for just the things you need. This entry is endearing with its visual style and I am a sucker for compo games with a bigger story to tell. This game had it. I liked it a lot, even if it is short and sweet. I hope you do more Ludum Dares because I'd like to see more of your work.

Nice game! I liked the idea and the graphics are curious :) The "battle" dinamic in the computer was fantastic. I miss a audio loop to keep the atmosfere but overall it's a really good entry. Congratulations.
