Loved the death screne, almost had me fall out of my chair. It could possibly have been on my end but I'm not sure that the mouse cursor is locked in place. I would find my mouse going out of the first screen onto my other screen and it made it so I couldn't turn a full 360 degrees, more like 200 degrees at most.

The soundscape was great. I only found two oils before my stick burned out. :( Totally nothing bad happened after my torch ran out of oil. Nothing bad at all >.<
Probably should have tried in fullscreen, but the mouselook on the WebGL kept getting stuck.

Nice mood going on, those sounds had me super tense, so it was a nice little surprise once I ran out of fuel lol. I also only found 2 oils, not sure if I'm running in circles or if I'm supposed to do something else. Nice little prototype for sure

Wow a 3D one! :)
It has been mentioned above, but there was something iffy with the mouse controls. I tried going full screen to see if that was the issue, but didn't solve it either, so moving around was a bit challenging at times.

Also, this might be my very poor navigation skills, but have only been able to find oil twice. :see_no_evil: The death scene was a cool jumpscare for sure!

The graphics and sound for this one is cool, and it sells the setting very well.

I don't think the sprint button would've been necessary, as there was no reason to not sprint at all, and the gameplay had a bit too few choices - I mainly walked ahead and in random directions until I either found oil or died.

I found this quite a spooky game so you definitely set the mood and felt drawn in for the majority. I was definitely worried about the light running out however I noticed a few things that I think could help:

- I can walk above the maps 'trails' which allows me to cheat and thus find things quicker
- If I find a source of energy there's nothing stopping me to just sit and wait until the torch nearly runs out so that I can get a 'full refil' which makes the game too easy (something that chases you to use torch fuel or keeps the player moving would be a good tactic)
- A discovery map could be useful to help me from getting lost (but not important), could be toggled too
- A mechanic introduced where running uses more torch fuel would make the game harder as I was just running everywhere (walking feels too slow)
- The energy ball/fuel source could do with only filling up a certain/random amount to make the game more thrilling
- I managed to fall of the map due to my first point, which meant I was able to keep falling until the torch ran out
- I'm a bit unsure what counts as a score (except 'surviving') hence why I stayed before picking up fuel as I expected this could give me more time (but time wasn't actually measured), and would allow me to think more, which I feel should be a 'mad dash' to the end from the mood I was getting.
- The torch seems to just turn off near the end before the fuel actually expires. Perhaps a gradual fade which makes it harder to walk about would add to the mystery/difficulty
- Some more mysterious music/sound effects could make this even more scary than the same sound effect

Haha, pretty spooky game. I think the oil blobs/checkpoints could be made a bit closer to each other, it's a bit hard to find them. Also some puzzle element would be nice (i.e. wall markings with some tips which may, or may not, be correct). Loved the sounds and darkness, very spooky mood. The death ending was also pretty scary, haha. Overall very good effort and game :)

Great mood created by those sounds and particles. It's easy to fall out on map though. And the thing i'm supposed doing is not clear at all.

You got me with the jump scare lol. I beat it the second time by climbing over the walls, seems like most of the canyons can be scaled just by walking into them at an angle, or walking up the corners. I enjoyed it. Good job.

Im impressed you were able to get a 3d game made in the 48 hours. I found it quite hard. More oil would have been nice. I would find lots at the beginning but nother later into it. Overall a pretty good game :)

~~America Simulator: Horror Edition~~

I screamed **so loud** when I died. The audio and graphics are well done. It could use a bit more oil imo. Nice job! :D
