It's weird, but in a good way haha

I've never seen a beter way of creating a 2 and 3 dimensinal game.

This was a terrific way to combine 2D and 3D graphics. The motivation to leave the tower was also a good twist on tower defense-like mechanics. +1 for the Monty Python references in the title image!

Awesome bones to a game! The style is really nice and the audio is really funny. Creates a good atmosphere. I don't know if the game changes with more people or not, but if orcs came from more than one direction that'd be really solid. With more time this game would be really fun with more content and challenge! I could see it as a fun party game

This is a cool game, but I thought that the tower could move because it had feet. Cool anyway.

This is great! The sound effects and the music are good. The animations are well done. The graphics look good too. Although the controls is a bit of a problem if one is playing on a Surface Pro - no middle mouse click! Other than that, it was a fun game. Thanks for sharing! I like how you can go out of the tower and use the tower as well

@theqiwiboy It can, you have to put down waypoints with either "B" on the controller or the middle mouse button (I know, controls could have been better thought out)

interesting 2d and 3d combine. I like this style. Controls are a bit confusing

I got the idea, but the controls are quite bad. Still liking the graphics and the game is fun. Even so the enemy is bit too hard for the one player to beat, especially in the case of the first play. Also the melee combat- feature has not enough feedback - it is just walking into enemies right now. Anyway this game truly have a good change to being have an own brand and become a famous and nice product. This concept remind a bit the game "Rock of Ages" by the bizarre humor

There was a bug when an enemy got under my tower and I couldn't aim at it and the controls are a bit complicated. Other than that, it was an interesting game, I enjoyed it a good bit!

Nice concept, in combination with the art the game looks good. Needs a better "loop" for the gameplay since it seems a little simple on what you have to do.

That was fun! :D It could use some ramping for a "late game", but it was still fun to romp around with my pet castle and just bash the heck out of my enemies. Also the sound design is superb and the graphics are on spot :)

Haha, nice to see someone else to use the same pun for the game idea! Nice gameplay, pity I can't play it in co-op mode, I imagine it's much better that way; probably could've used an AI companion? Found a good strategy of getting the enemies follow me only to get killed under the fire of their own keep.

Nice blend of agressive and defesive gameplay.

Loved the 2.5D Style.

Great Game.

This is actually quite nice!

I didn't realize at first that you could beat the enemy soldiers with your swords, so I just blasted them with my cannons like crazy! (That provided some extra challenge, phew!)

The controls are quite quirky. I can imagine some people will dislike them, but in a weird way I liked the challenge of running back and forth from the tower collecting resources. I kept forgetting which button does what (played with Mouse + Keyboard), but I'm sure if you play longer you memorize them.

----

I couldn't find the option for accessing multiplayer-mode anywhere?

I don't have any friends around ATM, but might try it with someone later, since I enjoy testing out multiplayer games whenever someone submits them. (I actually have 4+ USB-controllers stashed somewhere, so it's possible).

@dis0rder multiplayer is totally untested (we all live in totally different areas), but you should just be able to plug in more controllers and have other players pop-in on the spot...hopefully.

Did you make the music too!? I left the title screen open just to listen to it haha. That was fun! Nice entry. The visual style is cute and I love the feet - very monty python. The lil guys sword swing was kinda hard to get right, a bit more feedback would be good so we can see if we are hitting the enemies. And the controls screen at the start was a lot of text in one go. I think it would be better to introduce the controls slowly through a tutorial level as they were a bit awkward. I feel like using E to enter and exit and also pickup/drop would be more intuitive then when you get to the keep the lil guy can automatically drop the stuff off then you dont have to worry about pressing the wrong thing and going in by mistake. Aaaand i think the keep aiming could just be done with the mouse. Anyway that was a lot of feedback lol. Thanks!

A cool art direction, a cool music & a cool gameplay idea :) If I may, I would suggest controlling the tower's aim with the mouse, it would be simpler :) Again, great game guys !

Shame about the middle mouse button, meant that some features didn't work for my. Otherwise was funny and a unique idea! Nice work.

Silly idea, I loved it!
It takes a bit to get used to the tower moving with just 1 player, but then you can stock up your health and ammo, and prepare for a siege against the other castles!
I really liked the overall aesthetic and music of the game.
Very cool!

This game is really solid. Never expect a multiplayer game to turn out well during these, but even playing alone you could accomplish a lot, which is excellent! I can see what the gameplay would be like with more people, and I firmly believe this is the kind of arcade game I'd find on xBox Live & play for hours with friends in couch co-op. It was so goofy and the resource management works beautifully when you have multiple people.

Main complaint would be that the visuals weren't cohesive. I get mixing 2D with 3D, but the 3D elements felt like they were significantly lower in fidelity than the 2D assets, and between the various 3D elements it seemed like different styles were applied. Making the whole game feel more visually cohesive would have jumped my graphics rating up.

@peterfiftyfour most of the music was me, I also used the piece "Cuba Baion" (which you might recognize if you watch Techmoan on YouTube) which is in the Public Domain to get that same feeling as the Monty Python Intermission music.

The feet on the keep absolutely crack me up. This is actually a really fun concept! Enjoyed it thoroughly although I think the controls could be more intuitive.

Haha the music! and the feet! Interesting concept to have to get out of the keep, do some stuff and come back. A bit hard to control at first but you learn over time. The scale of the various elements makes it a bit hard to see what's going on sometimes, but that's not a big deal. Good job!

I love the combination of 2d and 3d graphics. Controls were a little wonky but overall was fun. Music was very fitting, and loved the graphics. Impressed with the controller support, never had the time to bother with that for my game.
