As a millennial this is a mood lmao. I also like the art.

Unfortunately for some reason my WASD keys wouldn't work, but I was able to shoot those bills.

A top-down shooting game. The idea of the score starts from a digit is good, maybe we could made this more meaningful for gameplay? The negative props could add some "dangerous" visual hint.(I usually picked them accidentally LOL).Very cute game.

Hey, great game! I was playing and when I was with like +$10000 I've questioned myself "is there an ending?", but then I realise..... art imitates life.... haha

One thing I can sugest to you is to add some different incomes with different values asw.

Anyway, great game!

@magnusfurcifer I've had a couple people mention this issue- one friend said refreshing the game made it figure itself out? I'm not sure if that worked for you. Thank you for playing!

Great job with this! Gotta love bfxr sounds and good pixel art.
I only wish I could shoot my bills and have the same effect!

This was great!! Loved the visuals. I did have the wasd problem but refreshing it fixed it. Kudos to you coming back to the game jam space!!

Gameplay is fun, Graphics are nice. First, I couldn't move the character. I don't know if the problem is from my keyboard.

10/10 would sell my soul to OnlyFans again. Cute audio. Loved the little quotes too.

Pretty fun. I got to 20k then realized I was a masochist, an ending or sense of progression rather would have been nice. I get though that shit is pretty bleak right now.

Fun TDS, but Would have been nice to see some progression beyond just the numbers ticking up. A goal of some sort? I also think it would have been good to have the same sort of feedback when collecting coins/hit by bills to happen when collecting the special items

Good game ! A bit classic and I don't really see the link with the team but I passed a good time to pay my debt  (also I was disappointed there isn't an end screen when you hit 0)

Interesting concept. The top-down shooting gameplay, itself, doesn't really fit the theme, but your 'rat race' narrative converted me into a believer that this game does, indeed, qualify for being stuck in a loop! You've made yourself a quality game in a short time... especially with this being your first solo creation. My hat's off to you! Great job!

Congrats on finishing your first game! There's not much of a point to it since there's no way to win or lose, but it's a nicely made top-down shooter. The theme doesn't show itself in gameplay but rather the story.

Great topdown shooter! I had fun with this one, it would be awesome to add a ScoreBoard with PlayerPrefs so when users come back to play they can compete! Also the graphics are fantastic pixel art. Great Job here

Nice gameplay loop. Shame it does not have ending (now I am independent Millenials-thingy!). Managed to get +33333 and stopped there. You can actually play this game withouth firing a single shot, as when you dash diagonally you gain much more speed than bill that's pursuing you so you can circle them around no problem and just go for coins and extra jobs :)

Well done with this, the references made me laugh especially the onlyfans one haha! Graphics and palette is great! Think a high score system would really add a lot to this but amazing job well done!

Solid gameplay and I liked the graphics. Some kind of progression would have added a lot to the game.

I got out of debt! It's easier than real life, in terms of getting out of debt haha. In terms of design could be nice to think of some more mechanical progression, maybe there are larger bills, or life events. Maybe you can get different powerups that are themed relevently. Nice job!

Cool game, really liked the art. There wasn't an ending or something right? The game would benefit from it so I can feel I got out of the debt loop..or maybe that was the idea? hmm :)
Great job!

Really great job for your first game in Unity! The take on the theme is interesting but could be made more explicit IMO. The gameplay gets stale after a while so as others have mentioned it'd be nice to have progression like different enemies or challenges.

Even though the gameplay is simple, I really like the "weight" on the player. I surprised myself playing more than 5min, Nice entry!

This game is really cool ! Good work !
The only one problem for me it's the ennemy spawn on ourself.
Sorry if my english is bad ^^'

At first I was kinda bummed there was no "end," but then I realized it's more realistic that way, LOL. First of all I love the pleasant millennial color palette, it really soothed the tension of bills trying to kill you. And I found the player controls really nicely implemented -- they're smooth and responsive. Of course it would be nicer with some background music but the hilarious concept makes up for it. Nice work!

Nice little game! There was some clicking in the "fire" sound effect. It happens all the time in unity web-builds for some reason. You can just open the sound up in Audacity or whatever sound editing program you use and re-save it and that usually solves it. If it doesn't, try adding some silence at the start and the end and/or do a short fade-out and fade-in.

The graphics were nice and the control was tight. It got a bit repetitive but hey it's a game jam game :) Well done!
