Endless Void by FireGamer3

During Submission Hour: Needed to fix the UI, on small screens players would not be able to start the game
This is my first entry to Ludum Dare ever.
You seem to have fallen into an infinite hole. then you start to notice various strange objects falling along side of you. they seem to start piling up. Somehow you can generate balls of energy now?

As I was playing I was thinking I'd say it's a bit too easy, but I did eventually lose. :D I was managing to destroy most of the items before the looped around many times.
Very fun game, the gameplay really went well with the theme. The looping items stacking up really added a very organic progression of difficulty to the game, I liked that a lot. I played the controller version, it felt very well to control with the second analog stick, good job on making that feel natural. All in all great entry, great job on that!
it will be cool
Nice game!
Good art and sounds, but after several minutes, it becomes a bit annoying, maybe an option to mute the game would be a nice addition!
But overall, great game!
We used the same technique with the black lines going up to do the falling effect checkout in my profile.
Nice thumbnail (picture/icon of the game) it grab attention.
I liked the game but its a bit punitive to loose half HP with one hit tho ahah.
+1 for the menu, the story kinda of cool :-)

all in all, it's a good game! could use some polish as many others, but it's a solid piece as is!
The music became a bit much after a while but definitely a decent loop!
My biggest issue is that the bullets are being created so far away from the player that if you are to close to some instances the bulet spawn on the other side of what you want to shoot.
I also spent some time realising that you can only shoot in 8 directions, i suspect you have done this to compensate for using controllers, you could keep the 360 degree of freedom if you set up your controller scheme to use an analog stick to aim and a button to shoot, did not get to try it out with a controller so i might be wrong on how it actually works, but that's my assumption and my input on that haha
