EDIT: I am aware of crashing problems on systems with integrated graphics, I will try to solve the problem, but I am sorry if it dosent work on your computer.

EDIT2: There is now a lowspec build, it looks pretty ugly, but at least it will probably run on anything.

EDIT3: a map of the maze is now available for people who want to find their way out quickly.

Graphics and audio really well made! Really made me feel the intended mood of the game. In addition, a great storyline and physical interactions with the environment were clean. Overall, great job!

Interesting game. The atmosphere is set just right with the music and visuals.
Portal mechanic is fun, shame you can't go both ways.
Text was bit hard to read at the starting room, adding some sort of background or outline would've helped a lot.

The mood and aesthetic really got me sucked in quite quickly. It felt very spooky from the get go and it really immersed me, well done!
I think that you could improve the portal placement a lot with just a crosshair or something in the center so that I can see where I'm going to place it, since having to guess made it a bit hard to navigate around.
Great submission!

Unfortunately FPS games make me ill so I didn't spend a lot of time on this. However I didn't let that impact the score :) Graphics were very nice and while I couldn't figure out how to get through the maze I'm sure with more time it would have been possible. Controls handled decently well.

The visuals, ambiance and the general feel are amazing.
I went around the maze a couple of times but did not reach any type of finishing condition.
I think that it is amazing that you were able to make this beautiful game in such a short while.

@indiequest The secret is lots of asset reuse and TONS OF POSTPROCESSING :). In all seriousness, thanks for the kind words. I spend a decent chunk of time on the ending sequence, its just hidden behind an awfully convoluted maze, so lessons for next time I guess.

@julius-vander-arend well, now that I know there is a cool end squance I might come back and try to reach it

The labyrinth is quite hard, but the aesthetic is really cool. I enjoyed the "grain" effect. A game like this with different mini-labyrinth with different kind of mood could be great.

I'm not sure the ennemies bring something to the game.

Good job with this one!

Ending Sequence? Once I reached the sand-area and walked towards the light, the game closed itself (crashed?)

The ambience of the game was pretty cool, I feel that the maze may have been a bit too big, and I did have to use your map to get to the end. The portal mechanic was pretty cool, I feel it could have been used a little bit more but overall, it's a good game :)

Pretty intense lighting on this one! I liked the look, but had a few bugs:

Maybe I just wasn't getting feedback, but right mouse to attack didn't seem to have any effect for me.

One of the moving walls, which must have been towards the end, I wasn't able to shoot a portal through it even when it was open. Those walls were also moving in a very jerky manner: is that intentional?

Nice work! A new experience for me in terms of LD submissions.

@caeonosphere the jerky walls where a bit of a coincidence, thought about taking the time to animate them smoothly, but I was already in quite a crunch at that point and I thought it fit the vibe of the game well enough. I know about the wall you are talking about, its a collider issue, but I wasn't sure if I was allowed to fix it under ld compo rules. As for the attack, you have to be close up and behind for it to work, but it could also be a bug, idk. Anyways, thanks for the review, it is much appreciated.

Ooh this one came just in time for spooky season! That was intense, I really liked it! Loved the intense lighting that would let you know if a monster (stranger?) was right around the corner. Good job!

The atmosphere was great and there are some truly impressive physics here for a jam game. Sadly, the portals just did not seem to work very consistently on my end, which limited my enjoyment of it.

That was INCREDIBLY atmospheric. Terrifying, really. Lovely time, but I'm glad I played it with the curtains open. Very impressive for 48 hours.

Some of the audio and visual effects, static and the bloom from the lights particularly, were a bit too much for me - but otherwise the graphics were great. The monster looked incredibly good! That's amazing you managed to create such a cool character and animate it in a game jam. Good job :).

Very atmospheric with the visual effects, audio, fog etc... created a eerie environment and a feeling of constant dread.

Love the atmosphere in the game, just like eveyone said, definitely the strong-suit of the game. Audio and graphics tie together really well! Ocf, there is some janky movement, however for being done in 48 hours, hats off to you!
