sad.
I beat it more than 30 sec.
The music adds a good bit of atmosphere, but the thumping sub bass rings out very loudly in the mix, and I would have enjoyed some variation there.
PROS
Really liked the graphic design of the game. Soft and solid.
Intuitive gameplay and solution.
Nice execution of the theme.
CONS
The sound of the steps of the little farmer guy were not well synchronized sometimes.
Would have liked something a bit longer? It took me less than a minute to win it.
Could we have a quit button once we beat the game?
Graphics are very pretty though
I don't really understand the concept of the game. Unless I'm missing something, the goal is to run around the outside of the road until you find a hidden road tile that lets you leave? And that's all there is? I won the first time without even understanding what I was doing, and it took me a matter of seconds. Also, the exits seem to always be in the same place, and they can be difficult to access since your character gets stuck on the edge of the road and is hard to control, and sometimes the exits seem to appear and disappear without much rhyme or reason.
The art style is interesting, but... there really just isn't much of a game here, frankly, and what *is* here doesn't really work. I'm not even sure what advice to give.
But the controls as people say above are Sooooo strange.
Maybe the player movement could be done with Transform and not by pushing a rigid body.
It was a bit hard to understand what really caused the road to stay so I could take it.
Maybe an extended gameplay of this could be interesting for a post jam release.
For example by making several roads.
Tasks to do in a given time.
A bit like a the Untitled Goose game but in a loop where actions have to be done within a time frame..
Overall I liked the first look, so extending the gameplay would actually do a cool prototype I guess :-)
