Untitled Mouse Game by Binney

[raw]
made by Binney for Ludum Dare 46 (JAM)

The mice are marching, but things keep going wrong with their music! Can you nudge them back on track and keep the tune alive?

Note: It turns out audio playback in Godot's HTML5 export can be a bit flakey. If playing the web version, Firefox seems to work better than Chromium/Webkit. For the best experience download one of the desktop versions.

Impressive sound design ! :O When I think that on my project I struggled so hard to get a nice result... Ahaha

Really, you can be proud, your game is really fun to play !

I love the illustrations, also the sounds are polished! Probably the best way to play it is downloading the file.
Really nice game overall, congrats!

I don't know enough about music to make this work after the first level. I really like the idea though and think you've come up with something unique. Hopefully if you do work on another music based game you could make it so people who aren't musical inclined can still feel like they're able to play (like Guitar Hero or those Hop Beat Apps etc). I enjoyed it either way.

Sounds are good. Gameplay is pretty boring.

What a creative take on the theme! The puzzles are very cute, love that you took it to the music realm. Both graphics and sounds seemed well polished, and the difficulty ramped up quite nicely. I definitely had fun and smiled while playing it.

I came here for the funny name, and I stayed for the music.

The sound is really well done and gameplay is fun all around, but I seem to be unable to tell in an instrument is playing slow or fast for some reason, even if I have no problems with sharp and flat.

had a good laugh with the audio :D the idea is unique for me and funny. There is also a good scaleability potential if you want to continue on this prototype with bringing focus on the player trying to manage the marching band :)

Damn, this is hard. These mice made me sweat a little bit. :o) However, excellent work on the sound design. The idea also feels quite fresh. Gj!

Damn, that was hard ! I had a hard time percieving what was the error, and when 3/4 of the mice broke at the same time, it was over.

Impressive work with the graphics and sound design, good idea, that's a nice game !

Pretty wild take on the endless runner. I did not play especially well, but really loved the concept. Art was lively. Would like to see the progress bar integrated more with the theme, but otherwise great game. Good job!

I like the art and concept. At level 3 it starts getting difficult but makes you want to keep doing better. Nice game!

Aaah I love it! <3 I'm terrible with music so I didn't score well but it was amazing <3 One of my fave games for sure.

~~I'm still playing.~~ ^^

For now I'm trying to understand how to play (I saw that you can click on the exclamation and choose between "and", but I didn't understand what the buttons are for (I didn't have much feedback for what)).

PS: I can hear the audio, I will try to pay more attention.

Now that I've played the second level, I understand a lot more how I interact.

![DOIS.png](///raw/bc7/6/z/34181.png)

Now things got complicated very quickly. Hahahahah.

It seems that some buttons no longer work to fix things. I tried to interact with the third mouse from right to left and he didn't seem to stop exclaiming (exclamation). I don't know if the information got out of place ... or if they exclaim without being the problem with them. @.@

I feel that my ears need to improve a lot. Hahahahah. I can't get far from there.

What a neat concept. Great use of audio for the core mechanic, appropriate graphics, and even using Godot! Nice effort.
