A really cool idea. I was impressed by the tutorial being a parent teaching a child and then that flipping and you being the teacher. It was a bit annoying having to restart from the beginning when failing, especially since it seems like trial and error to teach your kid.

I really liked the idea. Quite fresh!
I agree with the fact that having to start from the beginning is a bit annoying but it's alright.
Concerning the music, the "battle" theme was still on after hitting the "try again" button. Probably just a bug.
Good take on the theme!

Really interesting idea my kid didnt want to do shet so i had to explain it a couple of times which is fair since it has my genes.

like oldknivestale said the only real thing that could be better imo is that you gotta restart all the way from the beginning.

I think I ran into a bug, my little cub ran past the meat and then the music kept playing and it stayed on that screen.
It's a really cool concept and really well implemented. This game is good at making you feel without railroading. That's really hard to do. Well done!

Love the idea. Apart from the restarting thing thats been mentioned already, some polish in the art design will probably improve the game a lot.

Cute game, I felt devastated at the end of first round, that tells how well you make player feel invested when there is actual interactions between characters.
Great concept :)

I enjoyed the concept! Sadly I ran into the same bug as Murrzipan above, but I would have loved to carry on. The first death really shocked me xD

Really good game, loved the atmosphere, the audio... everything. Just one thing that I don't know if was intended, I just noticed that when you die to the grey wolves, you go back to the start, but the music doesn't reset.

Seconded, I really liked the inherently tragic aspect of it being a story about passing on your life skills to your pup before being killed, in the hopes it'll enable them to survive. Went through the tutorial process several times though, and I agree it would be nice not to have to go through the whole thing every time (providing you can somehow track if the child has acquired all the necessary skills). Still, a nice little game. Well done.

This game is awesome, great concept, nicely done. Same bug as Murrzipan, which broke my heart almost as much as the first death :(

It was sweet first. And then broke my heart.

The mood of this game, from visuals to music are fantastic. The tutorial is very nicely done. Beginnings of a great experience.

P.S. the rules do explicitly allow bugfixes after the time limit, though I understand wanting to stay true to the spirit of the jam

Very interesting concept. Without the hints on losing I wouldn't have been able to figure out how to win, which was very helpful. Nice work.
