loops by irwatts

You're a loop of cosmic breakfast cereal. You must find your own path to happiness.

Playable with a controller or keyboard. Controls are left intentionally obtuse to better simulate the sentient loop experience.

Hint: Try combining actions to better control the loop. For example, rolling and spinning at the same time can allow the loop to roll like a wheel and cover more ground.

Hint: The loop will always jump in the direction of the side facing upward.

This game got a good laugh out of me. The environment was great, and the graphics were really pleasant. The difficulty to control the loop makes sense to keep it difficult, but I did find it frustrating trying to move anywhere.
Nice work!

This is a hilarious concept, and super beautiful in graphics/music/mood. The controls were super hard to figure out though, some basic tutorial could have helped, and it seemed that the controls flipped if you were hit by one of the spinning things. Really neat, really weird, great stuff.

Very short, but very pretty! Was not expecting a game about being a fruit loop to be so surreal.

This was really funny, nice one! Visually it's also great and the dynamic milk sim wasn't unappreciated.

Short and sweet, happiness achieved!

Really cool graphics, loved the colors. Music is also on point. A bit short, I wish I could have seen a little more. Maybe in a post jam version?

That is some visual experience I was not expecting from a game about cereals :) Impressive graphics and nice music, too!

Impressive visuals, you have talent with 3D modeling and texturing, my computer it's a bit old so I couldn´t fully enjoy it. It would've been good to have the controls intructions added in the pause menu or somewhere else. To be a fruit loop it's the must amusing use of the theme I've seen so far

Nice take on the theme! I too was thinking about Fruit Loops but this was pretty to look at.

Very nice looking, all the FX really worked well. Somehow I can see fruit loops behaving this way! A decent music loop, it does encourage you to make the fruit loop move as fast as you can.

After I left, though I tried and tried, I could not get back to the comforting bosom of the cereal bowl. Why must the young fruit loop leave its nest?

This had a unique look that I appreciated, and I also appreciated the nontraditional controls, though I would have appreciated if they were more stable: lower overall acceleration, and maybe some soft speed limits that prevent you from spinning out of control.

Cute and fun game. It's an innovative take on the theme, and the implementation is well done. The graphics are just extraordinary: lighting, modeling, and texturing are great. Nice job!

May I have some loops?

Great looking game - that lighting and everything is so so good! The concept is fun :). I just wish it was longer. Amazing job!

By far the most creative interpretation of the theme so far. I really felt like I was "stuck" inside this inanimate loop. Aesthetically, it was awesome. But was it fun? I would say it was a little more on the frustrating side. But did I play it more than once? Yes :) The end is really satisfying haha. Like @caeonosphere said, if the controls were a little more predictable, I may have enjoyed scooting around as a sentient loop a little more. But I dig the overall vibe you were going for, and the music was fun for sure.

That was a SUPER creative and innovative experience. I don't know if I'd call it a game, but whatever it was, I really enjoyed it!
