New Word Order by Bart Wach
The game is about you trying to save words that are about to be forbidden by the "New Word Order" by typing them in before they become shredded.
Initially the idea was to save a language by typing translations of words in language A in language B but I had problems with loading data from Resources, so we ended up with english ;)

* The text is kind of hard to read at smaller resolutions - I might support having less words on the screen at once, but have them fall faster maybe?
* The words for me were disappearing when about 75% of the way down the screen - I wonder if this is also due to screen resolution?
* Having words highlight what letters you have typed so far might make it easier to track the word you're working on.
P.S. Once I understood the title it made me laugh lol
Congratulations to your first game!
For me as a slow typer it seems that the strategy is to either pick the shortest words to get as many words saved as possible, or to go for the long words to get more points for less words. Which strategy to pick depends on the scoring system, which I never understood completely.
I think that for balance you should score longer and more complex words much higher than short simple words - simply because there's an exponentially increasing(?) risk of mistyping for each additional letter. Also, if the scoring was more obvious (like a score temporarily replacing each finished word), it would give more feedback about the scoring system and help the player to optimize the strategy.
here a suggestion i have in mind :
maybe it would be nice to have a text field down the screen that keep track on what you write
i found two minor bug that can be fixed easily i think :
sometimes words overlaps and become unreadable.
some words are half out of the screen.
words deseapers right before the bottom of the screen, maybe a choice but if it is you shouold at least draw a line to show the player the time left he have to write this word.
Otherwise that's a nice game i enjoyed playing it even if it's hard for a french guy to play with english words.
@brachistosauro thanks
@leetchi-heda what I'd like to make is a game where you see words in language A and type them in in laguage B, then a field showing current input will defineatly come in handy, thanks for the feedbacl/
@vectorwolf the highlight is the first thing everyone mentions, thanks for the feedback
@drskort thanks for the feedback (Actually, I am polish ;) )
@random-thoughts thanks for the feedback.
I also found the level at which the words disappeared to be quite inconsistent, and some would disappear way higher up than others. So on that front, having a clear line marking the point of no return might be a nice touch. But overall good job, it was fun to play!
