You PICO-8 devs always manage to make really cool stuff. I think I might have to give PICO-8 development a try after this. I feel like this would have really worked wonders if Dream had won the theme rounds but for keep it alive I think its a little lacking. Other than not quite matching the theme though you did a fantastic job. I must say the Cork Gun is IMO the best weapon in the game (the worst is air strikes). Your sound effect are cool and your sprite work is really nice as well. Congrats on making a fantastic game this jam.

I kept waiting for him to pull out an actual rifle haha. Made it to night five before the airstrike let me down. Nice job!

I really love those particle effects and the little screenbounces. Great game feel and atmosphere. Also the use of various kinds of guns was well done. Bravo!

PICO-8 stuff is always a pleasure to see and this is no exception!

However, the variety of the weapons feels a bit too same-y. The water gun I expect a steady stream or a passthrough shot, the cork gun I was expecting to reel it back in, the rubber band repeater is indeed short but I efficiently saved most of the night since all of them are a hit away, and the air strike comes in extremely late than expected. Holding down the button for the air strike doesn't give it a few favors since it was nearly instant.

There's a bug I experienced by the way. I was using the repeater while the mouse button is held down. The next weapon was an air strike, but I activated it for a few frames while the button is held down WHILE the chest is present.

Other than the same-y things, this is actually quite fun~ Congratulations!

A really fun game, the limited ammo and different weapons definetly sell this one! It still gets repetetive after a little while. Different enemies might change that. Nontheless this is a super solid entry to the jam. Great work!

Really like the Rambo-Teddy theme! Game was fun and charming, with nice colorful graphics. Sometimes I found I ran out of ammo without clicking, but perhaps I'm missing something. The Cork Gun in particular I felt really rewarded tactics and positioning -- well done!

Loved the graphics and the weapon types, think i got a triple collateral with the cork rifle! Only made it to night 4, but i had fun every second of it. Very solid for a compo game, only thing that would have made it better is music

Fun little game. I managed to make it two nights. I liked all of the different types of weapons (or toys) in the game.

Nice one. Loved the animation of the jump with the headband. Gameplay was good. I hope you add a little ending or progression eventually.

Nice game, simple but fun. I think the weapons need balance. I found the air strike and the stone gun(forgot the name) not so effective, as all enemies are killed with 1 hit from any weapon.Or maybe more enemy types may help.
