I had a great time playing this, although I would say it's the grindiest Ludum Dare game that I can remember. Some more incremental progression would be nice, so I can kill enemies and gather money faster even before I get the one shot sword. I really liked the implementation of the theme, and the low stakes contributed to an overall relaxed experience. Excellent work.

I had a lot of fun playing this game, at the start I thought it was not going to be a good game, but I loved the movement of the player that much, that I was all the time platforming from one enemy to another

Fun game - my hand hurts from spamming "Z" now ;) The controls are great and very responsive. It's some of the best player jumping I've seen so far this LD. The pixel art is nice with some cool touches like the floating clouds in the background.
The enemy AI was a bit odd at times. They seemed to have no problem kamikaze running into lava or gaps and also didn't seem to mind when you jump on their head.

that was a loooot of fun :D pixel art and audio are fine, level design is great. A bit too much 'spamming z' so could be adapted to have less of that but I am being picky. Really nice entry :)

I played this all the way through. I wanted to finish it to give the best feedback I could. First of all, well done. I loved every second of it. I developed routes to try to optimize the most money in the quickest time, and got faster and faster at navigating the layout. The art, music, and jumping is SMOOTH. It's great. Anything with a functional double jump is already off to a good start in my book. But as someone else pointed out, it is grindy. It took a long time to finish a run. Upgrades would help this a lot, but even if you didn't want upgrades my personal favorite spot was right before the boulders where you could just dump a whole horde into the lava. That was great, more of that please. It helps speed up the process and is just satisfying. Overall though, I really enjoyed my time with this and think you did outstanding work.

Awesome work. I love this.

@quinn-patrick and @untitled-studios If you just run to the secret coin area without killing/collecting everything you can get 3-4k in one go I think

I liked your game, the arts are very beautiful, and the audio combines very well, it is possible to accumulate too much energy and the enemies end up getting stuck where it is at a distance of 1 block, and insist on falling in the lava, but nothing that clutters the fun to see the monster throwing the player, congratulations again, if it is possible to give your feedback on my game I would be very happy, a big hug.

Pretty fun game.. The Audio was a little loud and for a second I got stuck until I realized you could double jump.. Guess thats my bad for not reading the instructions.. Maybe the sound is just a little too loud. Had fun tho.. Solid game!!

Fun little game to play! It was a bit too hard to kill the final boss, especially since you get thrown back to the start every time. Would have been nice if some shortcuts opened up or something. The price for the sword was a bit too expensive as well.

I don't feel the "loop" theme, but it's a nice little platform game. The pixel art is pleasing, and movements are clean. I like the characters. The game is perhaps a bit too easy. And the ennemies are not difficult, juste a bit too long to kill (and at the end it's a bit boring). I could have soo much potions! That's funny. So I would say : nothing new, but it's a well-made simple platformer.

fun game, the enemies were a bit on the easy side but took too long, but the jump had a really nice control, it was a nice touch to add sounds although it was a bit too loud

I didn't know what to expect when I started this game and I enjoyed the secrets and the plot-twists. Also, pushing enemies into lava was really fun. I usually either shoved them or just avoid them. It gets a bit grindy in the end, but it's still a cool game. I didn't really understand why potions didn't turn into hearts as soon as they were picked up (since it seemed as I could have as many hearts as I wanted).
