That was... awesome. Totally wasn't expecting that.

Pace is great, story is heart touching. And the fact that you did that with minimalistic art. It's incredible how with no walls and almost no furniture I could imagine the space around me. I felt for the guy.

Really nice. Great game, the music is also so solid, and that picture of the clock, just.. Mph. great. Like that's a great example of one piece selling the whole.
Good job on the story too, the son was such a nice element ~ I expected the dad, but like seriously, hats off. good storytelling :3

sad but intriguing story and impressive atmosphere. the gameplay was repetitive but i suppose that makes sense from the story standpoint. the music and simple yet clean graphics were a nice touch. there were a few spelling errors, and the old man saying "Ugh" didnt quite evoke the thought of pain to me, rather just him being annoyed. i really enjoyed playing, good job on this.

The mood and the narrative is so emotional and solid as the music theme. The game as a game is very repetitive and not fun at all, but the global atmosphere and storytell keep me playing to see the ending. The art at the first room looks very basic, but when you reach the clock room... that is a "Woooooow" moment. Overall a great peace of art that happens to be inside a game. Thanks for your hard work and see you in the next jam.

Beautiful story! For me the day third was a bit abrupt, but nothing too serious. Also how to exit the bedroom and the placement of the door was a bit awkward, as well as the walking SFX was a bit too loud. The greatest strength here is the mood created (and the art of the clock! Marvelous!), congratulations.

Great story man! The fact that you put so much meaning in to those graphics is mind blowing. It was very touching, I thought it was a real story or something. I put myselft in that dad's position when he talked about his wife. Man it was good. Thanks for the feelful game!

Good little game. I liked the attention that you gave to the sounds. The end gave me some chills, not gonna lie, haha. Good music at the end.

It's a really moody game with a good atmospheric setting. Didn't expect the clock to be that big. SFX and music are pretty nice. I didn't understand where should I go in the first level. I think just a little more graphics need to be added. Overall a very nice game

Well that was sad. The most obvious thing to do for this theme would be games where you have to survive or protect something, so seeing more of a storytelling approach was definitely a nice change of pace.

What a touching story, I really like it. Art goes well with what you wanted to achieve here. Congratulations for this game, this is something I was not expecting for a jam (in a good way).

Your game moved me so much that I waited till the dithering sky to be completely cream-white.
The writing was perfect in the sense that gived the feeling to become present with a perfect spacing. Not too sharp, not too lenghty. It felt like one of those planets of "The little prince" by Exupery.
Loved the shadows and the audio is precise ♫

The machine room was a bit hard to find, other than that really nice!

I think this is the first narrative style game I've played for Ludum Dare so far. I liked the story it was cute and sad at the same time. In the ending when he fell down I'm guessing he died, since he talked about dying there.

my main feedback

- The text could of been a little bit bigger so it would be easier to read. especially since the text is one of the main focuses of the game
- knowing which parts of the room lead somewhere else was mostly by trial and error. It would of been nice to have some visual representation of a door or passage so you'd know you could go that way.
