I think it is clever that the thing being kept alive is also a hazard to avoid, otherwise it will eat you. Picking up the living snacks added great agency to control what was going into the giant maw. I would have liked if the E button was also mapped to a mouse button to make it easier to play. \nI hope you keep up the learning process, this shows you got good ideas! The balancing aspect makes the game, as it prompts the player to pay attention to how much they are feeding the giant plant. I found it fun to play and good keeping a balance! The graphics worked well together and the gameplay was intuitive and unique (throwing unwanted clones against the spikes). The edges of the screen had a cool blur effect which I liked as well. I would had added a soundtrack, something extra in the way of an animation when a clone is eaten, and, this last bit is just my opinion, made it a little harder to accidentally get eaten yourself.
