Cool idea and neat implementation. The text to speech was quite hard to understand. I love the coffee break. :D

It could be cool with more minigames and some music!

LDJam of course, but this would need some subtitles. Although fun and the animation of the robots is convincing. I loved the robot jokes. I just had one "task" that was not reseted when it came around a second time. Great job, thanks

@narom42 Thanks for kind words and critique! Yes, we wanted to add subtitles. I found it hard to implement with our workflow, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't have them. Noted.

Can you tell me which task was not reset? I thought I caught all the bugs, but apparently not.

@chocolat-endive Thanks! Yes, as narom42 mentioned subtitles would probably fix this.

@sprotex subtitles would indeed be a great solution

@narom42 Oh I remember! I fixed it by hiding the selection, but then we switched the GUI style, so I forgot to fix it properly  That task isn't randomized, so it shouldn't impact gameplay. I will make a post-LD version if (when) more bugs surface.

That's pretty fun and funny, I would just add a crosshair. Other than that it's awesome!

Really nice game great job! I wish there were a little bit more different minigames since it gets repetitive fast.

@zozer Thanks! There was only so much we could have done before it would fall apart. We have other minigame ideas if/when we decide to extend the gameplay.

Entertaining entry!

Wished for less repetition at least on the first cycle, would have made shorter cycles with ensured variety but it works.

An overall good one!

good little game and nice to see a first person view game.

Gosh I think this is one of my favourite games I've played so far this jam! I love the intro (though the text-to-speech was hard to understand, definitely seconding request for captions) and the humorous mundanity of it all. I encountered what sounded like an audio bug where the step sound repeated while I was sat at the computer, but other than that it was a very enjoyable experience!

Great humor, maybe a bit too slow-paced and repetitive for my taste, but i guess that was the point of living spending your time as a robot :)

Anyway, nice final product overall.

@manusaiz Thanks for playing! The repetition is unfortunate, we planned more tasks, but didn't stop to think about how to implement them, and it ended up being repetitive. Although that is partly intentional.

@katherine-stark Thank you very much for the kind words! Text-to-speech was intentionally slightly incomprehensible. We wanted to add subtitles and I've found out how to do them quickly. Next time this won't be an issue. I'd like to know more about the audio bug, can you post steps to reproduce it?

@moritz-jaeger Thanks! Where would you speed up the pace? Is it slow movement speed, slow tasks or something different?

@sprotex I've tried but I've not been able to reproduce it, sorry. :(

Really cool game, art, and animations. I also didn't feel it was that repetitive since the tasks had some sense of variation to them. My only problem was understanding the text to speech. Besides that, well done, genuinely enjoyed

Cool submission, I really liked all the minigames. The among us mention made me laugh. The robot design is amazing and the robotic voice is on point. I think I found a small bug at the beginning: two robotic voices overlapped and this made what they were saying practically impossible to understand (since sometimes even one voice is difficult to understand). Overall a funny entry, good job!

Oh, this was a cool experience! I just wish there were subtitles, sometimes the robots were hard to understand. By the way, the wavy robot is great :D
