Time works strangely in this cafe, over the course of 5 days your previous selves repeat their actions of past days. Work with your past and plan for your future to accomplish your goals.

Grab apples from the apple box and place them in the prep area on the left side of a stove. Then use to middle section to boil some cider. Finally pick up the cider from the right side pickup and deliver it to the bar.

I admit that I didn't understand how to play the game at first time :sweat_smile: But then when I had a double me, the game started to be really interesting ! I really like playing in day 4 and 5 with all these "myself" because I needed to think about what I needed to do, depending on what they're doing !
Goals are maybe a bit hard but it's a game with a good idea :thumbsup:

That was really well-made, and it was fun trying to figure out a strategy across days. Graphics and music were great! The challenges though were a bit confusing. I failed to deliver 20 on day 2, but it still let me continue playing? Did I fail that, or do I get a second chance? I delivered 20 later, but I the challenge didn't get crossed off (probably because I didn't do it on day 2)

@ale The way that challenges work is that you need to get them fulfilled at some point during any of your attempts. The game works on a 5 day cycle so if for instance you missed the first goal of "Deliver 5 cider on Day1" you will just need to wait until you play through 5 days and the cycle restarts on day 1. Or you can press "r" to restart the cycle on day 1 so that you can attempt it again immediately.

The game doesn't ever consider a goal failed longterm since some of the goals are mutually exclusive during a single 5 day cycle. I am not sure what you mean by "I failed to deliver 20 on day 2" as I didn't include a goal for that. The second goal is to deliver 20 cider on day 5, although since it is the second goal I understand the confusion since it would make sense for it to be for day 2. I just didn't think it would be worth having an individual goal for everyday, just the start of the week and the end of the week!

Really neat idea. It took me a day to even figure out how to make cider (should have read the directions...) but watching my day 1 self wandering around dropping apples all over the floor on the rest of the days was hilarious!

The goal system was a bit odd. I didn't end up accomplishing any of them but the game still progressed so it felt like they didn't matter at all...I guess if I play through again actually knowing how to do it I'll be able to achieve some and seem what that does :)

Edit: Forgot to mention the music was great, it did a great job setting the mood!

@perfectsquare Haha yes I think the first attempt is special since you get to watch yourself repeatedly trying to figure out what to do just doing random things

I like this type of game that requires both thinking and a bit of skill. I got the last task done by accident (deliver 20 on the 5th day but none on any other day) but I definitely didn't do that. It's probably a bug.

Game gave me a very chill vibe, love the music it really fits the tone of the game. Only real things I would change are maybe some sound effects and maybe some indicator for which character your controlling.

Oh right I must have got that mixed up. I actually tried to do 20 by the second day and failed miserably, so now I feel less bad about it lol

I really liked how you put it together.
Nice music, interesting gameplay, a bit of bizarreness :)
I like the idea of messing with the timeline.

Maybe one improvement I would suggest is to add some feature(s) that will allow to distinguish each player.

I quite enjoyed playing your entry.

Day 5 is super chaotic. I delivered only 1 more cider on it than day 4 in my first attempt. Loved the game.

Fun game and very interesting idea. Could possibly have done with explaining that the missions were things to try for rather than it having a more "normal" win condition but overall a very nice game and well implemented.

Very nice atmosphere and fun gameplay! Felt like playing with other people even though it was just one single player. Well done!
