*Update 23(24?)/April/2020: Added web version; uploaded new build that properly plays the music that was intended to play and in the way it was meant to. Also fixed a few minor issues that affected visuals or the flow of the game.
While cleaning out your house you find an old computer, along with a floppy disk simply labeled "MEMORIES".
Touching the disk gives you chills, yet you decide to boot up the PC and insert the disk as if you were possessed...
You wake up in a dark room. Your vision impaired by a strange device on your head. A TV screen turns on, a strange sound comes from it: "Senpai~"
There's six endings to get. Can you get them all? Hint: One requires you to follow her directions

The time segments get pretty intense
Not super familiar with the yandere trope but I got it clearly.

I didn't get them all, but plus points for multiple endings. Adds to the fun and "mystery".
As for the game itself, what stood out to me was the superb sound design: The mushy sound when the beartrap closes, the music during the quick-but-not-too-quick time events and the ambience. That's what really got me immersed. Art style was also very fitting, once again I liked the bear trap design the most. All around very good job!
You're not the first person who told me they wanted to use the machete on her, and I can't figure out how I never even thought of writing that in.
...probably because the screenshots looked oddly compelling, and once I started I couldn't stop. And I died several times, but then I finally managed to escape!
There are two things I'm not happy with:
- First, the diary. We don't even *know* that we can swap out things at that point. I feel like this is pretty much unsolvable on the first try and on the second try it's less a matter of figuring out what to do (after all, our protagonist straight out tells us before he dies) and only a matter of figuring out how the UI will let us do the thing.
- ...and secondly, if we die in the second phase we have to replay the first phase all over. Ugh. I get that it ups the stakes, but man, I was so close to quitting after the incident with the diary. Props on your game for actually holding me there strong enough to try again. (LIKE A BEAR TRAP, I suppose. Sorry, sorry, I'll show myself out.)
But apart from that, everything works really well together and creates one of the strongest moods I've seen in this LD. I also really enjoyed the unexpected mode switch where you have to investigate the room and pick up/use stuff there. Great job!
PS: Could we get a video with the endings? I'd love to see them all, but not enough to play the game a dozen more times from the very beginning to be honest.
The points you restart at should probably be tweaked; restarting the game is just a quick and dirty way to make a working game over to begin with, there would've been a proper game over screen.
The video sounds like a good idea (I didn't think anyone would be interested enough to see such a thing anyways), I'll see if any of us can record a quick playthrough of everything.
