Obligatory, I am EXHAUSTED, but holy heck did I have an awesome time this weekend! While I did work on this solo, everything was made by me this weekend, I was lucky enough to be in a discord this time. It was great to chat about our progress and help each other out with the ol' rubber duck strategy haha. I learned so much and I'm very proud to have met all my goals (INCLUDING FINISH A LUDUM DARE!!) and more :D

Great job on this! Those socks came a long way from two blocks slapping together.

We played two player first and had the player colors around the wrong way. For some reason we were able to play a long time without dying, so it became very confusing why we couldnt get viewers. Now we figured it out :D Probably using the same colors (red and blue) to mean two different things (emotion and player color) was not the best choice. Apart from that, the game is a great entry.

Also, crazy that this game is made by one person! Congrats!

Great job dude! I can already tell this is one of the best entries. The art is amazing and you nailed the goofy mood. The gameplay was genius but a little hard to pick up on at first. also actually hitting 0 viewers seems really hard to do but I'm not complaining ;)

Nice artstyle and sounds. 10/10 would have a sad sock puppet report about spilled milk again.

@abregado Thanks for playing and rating! Yeah funny enough that can't lose bit and same colors thing were added literally 10 minutes before the deadline haha, I actually had a completely different system up till then! Totally right about the using the same color bit, I should definitely change that...

The socks are so cute! This is a fun idea and I like the graphics. I don't have anyone to play with me so the single player mode is appreciated.

Super duper impressive that you were able to do this all by yourself! I love the personality of this, and the gameplay is unique and interesting as well! I will say that the tutorial is kinda mandatory in order to actually play though, prolly should have made that a required thing for the player to see before starting.

Other than that though, I liked this charming little entry!

I really like this one, great take on the theme! I feel like this could totally be expanded for more complex sock puppet livestream action- especially with 2 sock mode :p One minor issue is that the angry sounds can be a bit overpowering, to the point where the audio clips- though honestly maybe that makes for a more authentic stream experience, iunno... Anyway, great work on this!

i cri evry tiem :'(

Fascinating stuff! To think you did this all on your own O:

I think, because the game is otherwise easy, the bit of chaos introduced in the multiplayer with the colorscheme being confusing brings a bit of conflict-dialogue to couch co-op, which in turn would be a nice mirror of the mayhem that has to go down in a real-life news station :D

Oddly enough I had more fun goofing around with the puppets on my own rather than playing the game normally, so yes, I did only manage to gather the attention of 3 people, but at least I had fun "singing" all my little ducklings with two virtual socks, and isn't that all that really matters in life? :D

Thank you for bringing us this wonderful experience n_n

Nice work with your game! I love the animation of it all, it makes for a nice, whimsical mood. I feel like the gameplay is perhaps lacking some chaos, or some sort of goal, like perhaps if you had to reach a certain number of viewers or something. The eyebrows were a pretty cool touch, I think it'd be neat if you had to change emotions faster, like if part of a sentence was casual and then you had to quickly switch to angry for the last part. Cool creation, congrats for making such a fresh and wacky game, I love it.

Love your take on the theme and the gorgeous little world you created. Very cute little blabbermouths! I last played single-player, but so much more fun with two. After a while- news stream stopped? I just had to take a hit in views and it restarted.

The lighting and design reminded me of Media Molecule's LBP, so juicy and responsive! Great job! The eye brow control is comedy gold!

I loved this game! It had lots of charm , was really fun (played 1 sock mode) and the stop motion visuals were incredible.

I tried to play the first time without looking at the instructions and struggled until I learned about the moods (And the glorious eyebrow controls :joy: )

There were a couple of bugs here and there: at some point I just wouldn't lose, so I had to force quit, and after I won both texts overlapped. Nothing that can't be fixed :)

One of the best entries I've played so far, amazing job!

I love this! The graphics is really well crafted. Each object on the stage is lovely, and all pop-up images are funny. I miss music during the live. Anyway, great job!

That is insanely lovely! Animation is amazing, so smooth and polished, and the eyebrows really got me! Every objects are well crafted, gameplay works well, maybe a little too easy. I also happen to win and loose at the same time, with both screens popping up together.
Best entry I have seen so far, great work!

I really love the silly concept and the originality of the theme approach! A "guitar hero" of socks streaming! I had some minor bugs when the bar was been spoke by sock 1 or 2 - and also think that they ended abruptly then the bar ended. But is a nice game and incredibly welldone by you, one man developer! Congrats for the bravery!

Cool art, animation, attention to detail like camera shake, HUD, different voice for different emotions, so on. After a while don't know what else to do.
