Fun game, nice to see family involved on this platform. What I wasn't sure about was the zombies attacking each other as well which makes you able to run around and survive that way. Cool game though =)

That was absolutely a feature, not a bug! I looked at is as being a "crabs in a bucket" situation. If they are on each other they will lash out. I think the one thing I would have changed there, given just a bit more time, would be to add the logic that if there is a clear direct path they would continue to chase the player instead of attacking, that way it's only the one's that are stuck in the back that start swinging at the other zombies.

Thank you so much for playing and the feedback!

:frowning: my noodle not even served and zombies are already knocking your wall.. :ramen: i mean, i just wanna eat my noodle.. can you fix this thing, make the guy enjoy his noodle first and give it a bit stronger wall, the zombies are strong enough to break it in a short time

Nice game! The controls could be better, they are very unresponsive in my opinion, but the idea of cooking noodles in a zombie apocalypse is hilarious. Great job!

Nice game! The concept is really funny, but there are no animations, which make every game a million times better.

That was fun. Great idea to make the zombies attack each other, the game would be almost impossible to beat without that.

@slimbun did you mean no animations or would prefer it more animated? The animations are only a few frames each and definitely not as prominent as we'd like(artist is mid finals, so we agreed to keep it very minimal), but they should be present. Are they not rendering for you?

@slimbun that's really troubling. Wonder what's causing that, when I play on itch they are definitely there. Thanks for the heads up!

Congrats on first entry! I really liked it. I think that it is an interesting concept, but sometimes i found it hard to interact with stuff. Also, in my opinion it would look better in pure pixel-art than the blinear filtered one.

@bajtix Holy crap that looks a lot better! I honestly didn't even know about that setting. Know if it's ok to update that?

It is curious, but the zombies on occasions do not kill me and scratch me in the same section that they already broke, but it plays well, good job!!!

The idea is fun, and I like both the sound effects and the visual style. The game becomes really difficult really fast, and if survived for more then 30 seconds I would be really happy. Overall a fun little jam game. Well done.

the game was really fun but there were a couple of bugs and it was a little too difficult but other than that it was a pleasant experience

Like the concept - cook food and eat while fighting off zombies. Zombies breaking down walls is really cool. Got stuck in a attacking animation loop and got killed. Oh well
