Tools used

Game Maker Studio 1.4

As the engine and code compiler, this was my Main software where most work took place

Audacity

For mixing and fine tuning my samples, all recordings where done with my phone and my headset microphone

Piskel & Paint.NET

For all the graphics

Edraw MindMaster

For mind mapping, this was both useful and diss-advantageous at the same time, spent A… LOT… of time planning, the theeme was way to broad for me haha had to practice holding back my ideas so that was good practice

Cute little game. I like the dialogue and the boost effect! Has great potential but not too much gameplay for the moment. Nice job anyways :)

Interesting! I like the art style and the music! As the player, I'm a little confused what the goal is though. I explored for quite a while, but only found more trees, rocks, and bug nests.

Yeah, I too liked the little dialogue and the beginning and the mellow music playing. The are was pretty creative too. I got to the edge of the map, but once my character left the screen I couldn't seem to do anything. Not sure if there was anything after that.

Very expandable concept. Nice job for the time, I like the visuals too. I like the stories and narrative. Nice job! Play our game if you can, thanks!

This was a good entry. The dialogue was cool and I liked the music too. I think the little animation for the guy was pretty well done too. It definitely looked like what it was supposed to look like so good job there. An interesting movement mechanic as well. I did have trouble reading the clock to figure out what time it was though. All in all good job on this!

Yes, the music was pretty interesting, but i didn`t get the goal for the game. So... I played it for a while and droped it. Anyway it was funny beginning.

The art and concept were pretty interesting. Unfortunately it seemed like movement broke at the end of the first cycle for me, and I couldn't move.

Loved the look and feel of the world you've created, was interesting and enjoyable just exploring which I think is always the goal with an open world. Oh and congrats making a (proc-gen?) open-world in gamemaker, that's no easy task! Liked the music a lot. While the audio loop's short it's also really moody and evocative.

Game itself is a little barebones at the moment it seems (which is totally understandable given the time constraints) but I'd love to see this become more fleshed out. It seems you've come up with a really charming little world here, filled with imaginative inhabitants. I think it just needs more interaction now for it all to come to life. For example I'd love to know what those swarms of little pig-creatures are about. Are they enemies, friends or food maybe?

Also just wanted to mention that "Q" for time seemed bugged and didn't fully show on screen.

Anyway really like this, keep us updated if you keep working on it.

I didn't get the objective of the game and I just walked some time without finding "anything" ^^U I liked the music though.

I liked the first part with the chat, the character is very believable and was a nice way to explain the game. The music is nice and the game has its atmosphere of loneliness that I liked. The way you control the character is also interesting.

Sadly, the rest of the game seems a bit lacking. I explored a bit but couldn't find anything, my clock also didn't work, at least I guess:

As you can see I don't know how to interpret that thing in the bottom as the timer.
The fun thing is that, in the attempt to understand if there was some button I was missing, I used the scroll wheel and discovered that you can zoom out, though I don't know if that was intended since it lags:

I somehow discovered that with the dash you can destroy the trees (?) but don't know what the purpose is (maybe increase the timer?).

That said, it's a bit too rough but it's also a compo entry, therefore it's harder to make and I appreciate your effort. Keep it up =)
