You've been hired to work at a manor known as The Elmhearst and revive its dying courtyard.

But there is more to the courtyard than meets the eyes.

It was an interesting story, had fun with it :)
Sad to see it wasn't able to be finished as I would like have seen different endings.

Great job!

@janmarcano there are technically 3 different endings you can get.

Great work guys, intriguing story and very polished art. I got stuck in a loop going back to the library over and over and couldn't get past that bit at all. Good to see another story based entry.

Like @flipsy above I got stuck in the library loop. However ignoring that the art is absolutely fantastic, and the story/dialog was fun to click through up the that point. Will come back to this after I rate some more games to see if I can find my way past the library thing.

Nice job considering what I've seen so far!

I also got stuck in the library loop on the Mac build. I was also sad that there wasn't any audio. I saw in the preferences that there is supposed to be music, sound, and voice, but I didn't hear anything. The drawings are great and the story seems interesting.

Really great art and interesting story. I was pleasently suprised games was that inclusive - that's a very nice touch!
After library game got super laggy though and it made playing kind of hard.

library loop here, too. The art is pretty nice, except for the absolutely terrifying souless gaze of every character as they penetrate your soul. I like all the work put into the story and writing. Would you like Blueprints or books? Would you like Blueprints or books? Would you like Blueprints or books? Would you like Blueprints or books? Would you like Blueprints or books? Would you like Blueprints or books? That's the best part!

Awesome artwork. It definitely could have used some art of the actual garden and terrarium mentioned in the story. I picked an unfinished ending siding with my boy Cam. It was a lot of fun putting Ted down at every chance I got, haha!

@jake-marks haha, yeah I started work on the garden and we hit a point where it was "get the art done, but not have enough of the script coded in, or have the garden and lose most of the script," and it was at that point we had just finalized what actually needed to be in the garden. So I ended up switching back to coding and didn't get to finish the art. Maybe someday I'll finish the drawing!

Hello, just saw your game, nice graphics. I'm a programmer looking for a graphic designer or a team to join in and maybe work on new games, are you interested?

@mandaaar-01 Yeah, I had hoped to get to sound/music, but we ended up not having time, unfortunately.

@mehrdadsh Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! Unfortunately, I don't have a ton of time right now between work and my current side project, but thank you for your kind words.

Too much reading. Not the kind of game I was looking for. But it is beautiful. Maybe you should draw the eyes with more diversity?

Normally this isn't my cup of tea, but I think that you incorporated the theme nicely and the graphics are lovely! I especially like the garden supply store guy (though I already forgot his name). One point of critique I have is that the characters appear too big on screen. It is hard to read the text and stil gague their emotion. You should have stuck to the rule of thirds. I would love to see if you can bring this game to life with a fully developed story and tie it all together with some nice music and maybe a little voice-acting.

Good art and writing! I was going to say that I wished you'd added visuals of the garden and music, but I see you already addressed all that in the comments. You still got a lot done in the short time period - nice work.
