Broccoli does justice in the hardcore quest of 2020!

You have to bring justice and achieve freedom. Go through the maze, complete quests and communicate with citizens: elders and young, working class and law enforcement agencies, magicians and bandits.
Find a way out and don't get stuck in a loop!

Tap on the game window so that the cursor doesn't go over the edge of the screen. And use classic controls like: wasd shift to run space to jump

Found the brocolli! Not sure what to do next tho :v: Player movement is smoot and I like the graphics. I did think it was a bit strange that the player seems way larger than the houses.

@pixelpaw @mrredbeard you have to destroy the dictator. I've added some tips in the gameplay to make it more obvious.

I like the honesty from the thief. He might be a broccoli stealing scumbag but at least he's honest.

I also couldn't figure out what to do. I talked to the farmer, the bush, the thief, the broccoli, the weird babykid with the sexy-patrick legs, the sorceress, sharkboy, turnip boy and i still couldn't figure out what to do.

It took me a while to realize that I was stuck in a loop!

Interesting game. I found the movement was a little slidey, also it was a bit odd being so big in comparison to everything else.

The art is nice but I was a bit confused about what to do. (it doesn't help that I started by going the wrong way ><). The way dialogs are shown is a bit bugged sometimes which always leaves me wondering whether the NPC actually has more to say... Nice game with a crazy idea nonetheless !

I agree with you guys @skleembof @daitse that it is not so obvious what to do there. The idea was to find a stolen broccolis, and destroy the dictator with it, but we just hadn't enough time to polish the story and the gameplay. Thank you for checking it out and for your feedback anyways :four_leaf_clover:

I like the environment and graphics, but I found in a little difficult identifying the next queues to follow. I found the farm, broccoli, and theif, but wasn't entirely sure the next step.

I also completed it. Must have missed the loop somehow. It seemed fairly straight forward to me.
I was a bit confused at the beginning because I found the broccoli before the farm.
Found a place you can talk to the broccoli through a wall of trees.
It ran poorly on my computer but was just about playable.

Congratz, dude @someone well done! The story really should be straight forward, if you are listen what citizens say, but as I can see it turns out a little confusing and not all the players could figure out what is the next step. Thanks for playing and I'm sorry for bugs and the performance, we just had not enough time to optimize it

I loved the graphics and humor of this game, but I will admit I got kind of lost. I still enjoyed my time is this wacky world though! I love the letterboxing effect that slides in for dialogue.
