It seems, like you haven't published the game on itch.io, @ me when you do that.

Dumb mistake. The game was set to private. It's all good now. @romgerman , @thornduck , @kszaku thanks for spotting the error.

I played it! I like the effects on the sun, and how each level gets darker. One thing to improve: maybe add more elevation on the ground, it doesn't need to be much, just some 1 block high stones or hills!

A little more variation in levels would have been good. Nothing much changed in terms of the layout other than the enemies. But keep at it.

I really liked the animations in this game. When the character blew up there was a cool kinda...shattering effect. Good work.

Simple, but effective pixel-art. Nice touch to let levels get darker. The player death animation is nice. The character speed was a bit too fast, though.

I'm not really sure what happened here. But creative enemy designs!

Cool game! It was very simple but solid, the controls were nice and I figured out what to do pretty quickly (except I was running away from the thing following me which I was meant to keep alive! :p)

The sun effect is very cool, and I liked the Age-of-Empires-y music :)

The concept works pretty well. The main issue I see in this game is the companion's behavior, which is either too predictable(thus too easy to manipulate) or too random (sometimes it spawns at the middle of the level?). But the enemy designs are really good! Keep up the work! :)

Pretty cool game! The mood was really nice—I think the graphics and the music fit together really well to really make me feel immersed. Good variation with enemy types as well, I think the snake enemy and the stab up enemy especially worked well. It seemed like the yellow enemies just stood there—not sure if they were supposed to do something more? I also really appreciate that the respawns happened at the beginning of whatever section you were on, rather than sending you all the way to the beginning as I feel is often the case with jam games. I would've loved more of a ramp up in difficulty with more combos of the enemies towards the end, I felt like it was pretty easy to make it through, but I know that's tough on such a limited time schedule. Overall really nice job!

Beautiful game! Simple but fun! Perhaps it could add a sound effect for jumping.
