Fledgeling

My first ever jam game. You play as an owl hunting rats to feed its baby.

Controls

WASD to move. Space to scoop up rats. R to land at the nest.

T to turn off the pop-up hints. I'm not sure how annoying/useful they are.

This game is not playable at the moment. The itch.io link is broken and the source code on github is missing files as well. I was looking forward to playing a game made with LÖVE :(

Really enjoyed this, lovely art and sound, simple but compelling game play. I really cared about feeding my baby. Good work.

Damn that is really nice game. I love the idea, mood, graphics and music. I found that sometime rats prefere to hide in rock or wood that is NOT the closest one. Game is challenging, but i like it very much. Good job!

The atmosphere here is top notch, I had a bit of a struggle understanding how to hunt (An owl sadly was hurt in the process) but once mastered the game flows really well. Loved the experience, congrats!
