To be more specific, the player does not move and the intro text keeps "looping."
As for the windows version, I am on a MacBook, so I can't try that.
@geryon-games Thank you! When you lose a life, the length of your tail decreases :)
Good game, although it does not feel "hectic" enough. Also, I feel like more could have been done with the theme. However, I do like the art style, and the music is pretty good.
On Firefox, everything ran smoothly
I think it would've been great to see how many lives you have left, as well as to maybe have some visuel cues for when you are dashing. Right now, I wasn't really sure for how long I was dashing, and often crashed into the "back" walls of obstacles.
It run perfectly on my computer too (using firefox).
I had to download the game, but it's not because of the game itself, just 'cauz I got some issues with Unity and my browser. I tested on Firefox, everything runs perfectly.
Nothing else to say, really good game, it reminds me a lot of moments spent (wasted) on some bullet hell games such as Touhou, that was really funny to play ! :)
Simple controls (only one button), but there's nothing more to add to make the game interesting to play. These controls are really reactive and precise on a gamepad, GG.
These visuals are really good, especially the "aura" VFX that I really like.
Also, good job to Oxalotte for all these musics.
I've nothing else to add, or maybe a way to indicate the health remaining in an "embedded" way in the design ?
I also had the feeling that sometimes the blocks couldn't touch me during their creation, maybe add some feedback to understand when they become "active"?
But TBH these are some details to find something to improve in this game, which is still excellent.
Good job ! :)
I think it would be helpful to see when you are in dash/invincibility mode. Maybe some color change until you finish the dash.
I like the style of glow on geometric forms.
A special congrats for the music, :musical_note: what software did you used to compose it ?
Would be nice to see the I-frames in the dash.
@daitse Thank you =D The major difference is that the first two levels were created by hand while the third level is randomly generated on the beat of the music ^^
Great job!
It was interesting to play
Good job
I only have a couple of nitpicks - It would have been really helpful to get a little bit more feedback when you lost a life, and to have a display of how many lives you had left. Going along with that, it would have been helpful if you had a visible change in your character when you were invulnerable from a dash. Most of the time when I lost a life, I wasn't sure if I had correctly dashed through an obstacle, or if I got hit as I was leaving it, so a little bit more clarity around that would have been very helpful. Overall though, great job! I found myself really enjoying the infinite level when I got there.
