Some things that I didn't like as much was the slow aim down sight, it made it feel not very responsive. Another thing that I think could be improved on is the UI, having tree health, time alive, number of bullets would make for an easier to understand game. :)
Thanks for the feedback!
There is definitely a lot to improve. I've spend too much time modeling the gun the first day. Next day I've almost gave up as I didn't know what to do with the theme. In the third day I rushed to at least complete something. That's why it lacks proper UI. Same thing with aiming. I've added it in the last hour and didn't really tweak it properly. Glad you liked the visuals.
Thank you for playing!
The game lacks variation after a short while, but that is normal for LD Games. I also think that bigger impact effects or a health bar for the enemies would be cool (maybe use the eye-light?)
See me circle strafing:

The experience itself is pretty straightforward, I do like being able to shoot the enemy bullets if the circle strafe strategy wasn't good enough to get back to the tree. I do like the detail put into the environment, it is nice to look at and the time of day change was nice too. Mostly good visual work, which resulted in a nice game.
But it was a very pretty little experience. I didn't even dislike aiming all that much and reloading feels good. Well done.
