I agree with Barelos's comment - I had trouble rotating the ship to control it precisely, and my preferred battle strategy was to grab the dual gatling and just spin in place and fire rapidly. Maybe a bit more inertia/momentum would help?
The BGM was surprisingly chill for an arcade game like this, but I enjoyed it. Great work!
At first I thought the turning was too fast but especially at high speed it was actually perfect to make nifty turns.
Flying was very enjoyable and shooting was cool. Nice little detail that the enemies bullets/astroids could also collide with other enemy bullet and be destroyed this way

* Camera zoom relative to speed, which gives ample reaction time and one cue of current velocity
* Path trace with "timing dots", another cue of current velocity, plus one cue for acceleration
* Pointy shape of player, an excellent cue for current acceleration
* Target marker, which removes headache of navigating in void
So yeah, this game might not be the most innovative one, but its controls are really well done. Heck, I can even employ energy-fighting tactics! Simple, but well polished.
