Fun little game, it reminds me of a game I used to play on PS3. On little thing, the mouse sensitivity is too high IMO. Fortunately, I had a PS4 controller and it worked fine with it.

I never played Snake Pass but this makes me think of it. The mouse sensitivity was a bit high, but it was an interesting idea and I had fun trying to figure out the controls!

OMG I love this game! The snake can be a bit too grippy at times leading to you getting stuck. But I love the controls, polish and sound effects. The snake looks very funny as well. A bit too challenging tho. Checkpoints would be appreciated. And a reset button too. Fantastic concept.

This is certainly one interpretation on the theme I did not expect! And oddly addictive at that!

Lychee said what I was thinking. I've never played Snake Pass either, but I immediately thought of that. You were right, the levels were tough, but the confetti was nice.

Very funny, the snake's face is brilliant. A proper end screen would have been nice but it was a great game anyway.

Thanks all for the awesome feedback!
The biggest issues seem to be
- the mouse / camera sensitivity
- unintended floor sliding
- wrapping feels sticky... due to a last minute change :(

(Note: should do more playtesting early on next LD)

Thanks again for taking the time to rate and play my game!

Great Game. Some of the physics could use some tweaking so there isn't so much waiting but this is a very novel idea.

This is really funny :D
loved to fly through the air and wrap around things.
got stuck on the second level but was very funny to play nevertheless.
Loved the sound effects of the snake moving <3

Great game! The levels are super fun to wind around and it introduces more difficult challenges really well! As others said it's really addictive lol :P

Great game! seems very similar to Snake Pass? Very impressive game to make in such a short time. Not sure if you had played Snake Pass, but if you did, then I would have liked to see some new twist on the snake-movement system. Either way, really fun game.

While you said the wrapping feels sticky to me it combined with the sound just made me think of moving a balloon snake through the levels. That coupled with the confetti seemed to give it a feeling of frivolity, so even as I was near the end of level 3 and started to slip back down to the bottom it seemed more playful than frustrating. Love the realistic physics and the snake. Also it would be nice to have an option to use gamepad triggers for climbing, since the A-button finger is also used for camera control.

Frustrating and hilarious. If I had a gameplay the controls probably would have been better and that's my only complaint so great job!

you know? we beat ALL of the levels. There isn't another game like this one. :D my sons and I really felt like we had accomplished something beating all these. :D

Good job! I've never played snake pass but this seems like a good recreation of that idea! The one thing I think I might add is some way to increase or decrease your friction because I found myself struggling to pull up after wrapping around something. Overall good work!

Very nice. Impressed on how well I felt the controls working. Only issue I had was camera getting under the groundplane when starting. Very nice take on the theme  Great job

I liked this take on the Snake Pass mechanics. The levels were well designed and the progression worked well for teaching mechanics that are unfamiliar to most players. I would have liked some way of varying how tightly I was gripping things because I ended up getting caught on things by wrapping around them. The camera controls could also use some work I think, on the 3rd (I think?) level with the brown cylinders I really had a hard time getting it to look where I wanted. I did love the snake's face though. I enjoyed this one, well done.

That was super fun despite me struggling with the controls 😅 And congrats on getting the technology working, I don't know how I would have done it, let alone such smoothly! If you're curious to see how I played your game, here's me playing it on my stream:
