The color palette is nice except the bar. The visual is the strongest point of the game. The game itself was entertaining for a minute.

True, the game is lacking in the content, but considering the fact that the decision to participate was taken in the last moment - the result seems to be quite satisfying.
Graphics and animation are simple, but very pleasant. That's a truly nice work with some potential. :3

The game is simple and easy to understand. A score counter (how much wood collected) would maybe have been cool.

@jorbits Thanks. I wanted to make one, but I didn't have enough time, as I started the day after the official beginning of the jam.

@furraran Thanks, I'll try to improve.

@davidpeterworks Thanks. Yep, I had some trouble with the bar and I was afraid I would not finish in time, so I just made a simple one, which sadly does not fit in the scene. Glad I offered you a whole entertaining minute ))

Is there an end game?
Would be nice if the fire grows infinitely or at least much more so its also harder to avoid the water :)

@kwaku Thanks for the idea, there is an end. If you get hit by rain 5 times, the fire goes out. I wanted to increase the speed so it would be harder and harder, but I guess I'll do this outside the jam.

Pretty Dope , just the audio looping is quite an annoyance the longer you play.

I really like the style of the game, the colors are nice ! Also be careful for the Pause menu, the last letter of "Resume" is missing (and I thought it was a button so maybe display "Excape to resume" somewhere or make it clickable ;) )

@haoro Thanks. Could you please be more specific, where is the missing letter. I don't see any, or maybe it's just the font..

@hexa3 Sure, so, I'm on the HTML5 version on Firefox. After starting the game, when you press escape, the pause menu is display, with a text saying "Resum" (and not "Resume" for me) around the middle of the screen (maybe making sure it's in the middle of the screen could be nice ;).

@haoro thank you very much. This is very strange because I'm also using firefox and it works fine. ![resume.png](///raw/85e/5/z/31d4a.png) I'll try to figure out what is happening.

@hexa3 Myabe I miss a Firefox update or something (my font isn't the same as the one set too).
Also, I have to double click on resume to make the button work, and i double click again at the same spot whil the game's on, it activate the pause Menu. Maybe it's just my Firefox but you should check it out just in case ;)

nice art, good first entry. A score system would be a nice addition for replayability reasons :)

The game is easy to understand and good to play. I like the background art. But I would prefer another solution, to keep the fire alive. So the raining wood solution is a bit to simple for my taste! :)

Simple, but it works with the theme, the mechanics are easy to understand and even though there's a challenge there it feels quite relaxing to play! Must be the sounds

Very pretty background and the game fits the theme. The wood and water drops really fast and you can't move the fire fast enough, so it became more just avoiding water than grabbing wood. Losing health over time would also make sense.

Sometimes simplier is better, but this is maybe too simple, but it is hard to draw the line. I like it, Good job!

The art and generally the vibe and atmosphere of this game was nice, but the thing is the game was too easy. I lost the game only when I wanted to, because I stayed to play it for like 5 minutes and then it was still the same. It was more and more boring.

But overall the game weren't bad. Good job!

A sweet little game! I love the graphics. The colouring really helps to set the mood. If you had more time, I would love to have had different stages where it gets harder and different types of items fall that you have to avoid. Great job!

Good game, easy, but works well !

I had high expectations with that cover image though, I imagined a game with a story with that cute graphics

Nice Art. I would have liked a little bit more of content. Like a score that show how much time you survived or maybe the life of the fire cab go down as the time goes by. Good Job!

I would add more feedback when players click in an item (sound fx, objects destroyed...).
Nice art by the way.

Nice little game, you can improve its difficulty by making the fire lose life over time, since its Fire after all. The art Background was very Nice! Overall great Job for your first Jam.

A simple addition that could help a lot is some sort of timer for how long one has kept the flame alive!

The game looks really nice. I liked the colour palette and the the smokey effect from the fire was a nice detail. Good job!

Good potential however I was surprised that the fire's life was not decreasing with time but only with the water. The difficulty did not seems to increase too. Maybe more objects could have been added with time. The controls work great and the game is fluid so I just miss a bit of content. Otherwise good job!

Good first-time entry! If you've made all the art and sound yourself you can consider it a success to have something finished and playable :)

The game looks great, gameplay is simple but fun. The only lack is the increasing difficulty over time that this kind of games usually have. Anyway, good work!

Nice entry!! The graphics are really nice ^^. The gameplay could be improved just by making the fire counter go down a bit overtime, so you had more reason to keep getting logs even when not being touched by the water. It's a very nice game nonetheless. Congrats <3

A simple but sweet game, the artstyle is neat, and the gameplay although simple is fun. I only wish there was a reason to get the logs after the bar is already full, maybe like a score or something, but other then that, I like this game :D
