Although the game felt quite unresponsive at times, I enjoyed it a lot !
Love how the slow-motion distorts the music.
It felt like the lorry was going a bit too fast at times.
Maybe a slower lorry speed, but some sort of fling physics on the projectiles to compensate, could be a potent mix.
I didn't get very far but will definitely try again. Great job!
@kuro Just uploaded a Windows build to the itch page. No idea if that'll fix it, but fingers crossed.
It would be nice if your slo-mo capability refilled when the targets are reset, since otherwise you can be forced to wait and go around again to have enough slo-mo stored up to have a reasonable shot at actually beating the course. Even despite that the game is a lot of fun though :)
Sometimes it was hard to see if I have hit the enemy and when I did it was often too late to try to hit again, so I was always spamming to make sure I hit :)
Definitelly one of the best I have played so far.
Cheers!
Sensitivity is a bit high for me. Music is nice but slow-down effects sometime produced strange clicking for me.
Hard to understand if I hit the target, and if so how much HP it has left(it seems it's not one? But maybe I missed a lot?)
The shooting felt a bit weird. Sometimes my cart would zip around a corner before I could see if I actually hit the enemy or not. Not being able to shoot without the slowmo seemed a bit weird, unless that was a glitch?
Cart seemed to go way too fast. If you're concerned about the player getting bored while looping around, add a boost button instead. I would have liked more time to take in the beautiful environments.
Beautiful artwork, beautiful music, super cute aesthetic, fun gameplay.
Would love to see a longer version of this game!
